I think the problem, TheWesDude is that you're not being forceful enough. You need to get belligerent to show that you're serious about wanting your avatar back.

What DU could do is add the image of Horikita Maki, but set the transparency so high that you actually can't tell it's a Horikita Maki avatar.

it's obvious that the gallery system serves no purpose;
It does. Codex going back to being Codex, for one. Also, something to do for creative people who like to make Codex a better place.
there's still lots of weebo avs
Better a trickle than a flood. [...]
Problem: If the only reason that there aren't a flood of bad avatars is that users are forbidden to pick them, then the codex has changed and having preselected avatars "just like old times" ain't really gonna make the old times come back. Kinda like that time when you found one of your old rock band shirts but didn't feel any younger wearing it again.

While I don't care that much about custom avatars, this is inaccurate. I've seen many more animu avatars with the gallery system than without. A number of posters who previously had non-weeaboo custom avatars are now sporting them.

Trolling. They'll switch back promptly once they'll catch themselves promising candies to little boys.

Your faith in your fellow codexers is admirable, but prepare to be disappointed.

Here it is. It is pretty simple really, what I want is public support on getting my old Avatar back.

it is not some weebo or anime garbage.
As you've been so persistent, I've given you your avatar. Hopefully I did it right, XenForo is pretty tricky and sometimes I get the code wrong.
