thanks, there is one minor issue remaining: if you hover over the smiley the list pops up but you have to click on it to fold it back. should be click to open.

Yeah, I wondered about that too. Sadly I am not teh Javascript enough to do anything about it.

Hoorah, knew this had been talked about somewhat. Does this stop the weird equalizer gifs from appearing, or only the whats new page?

If not, is there a way to automatically mark a forum as read all the time so you never notice new posts to it?
