ToRo is the nickname and signature of anthro artist Tomas Rosales who resides presently in Florida. He is mostly recognized by his homo-erotic minotaurs, either drawn freehand, or created by Photoshop. He also does conjoined pieces involving Minotaurs, and Chimeras... as well as mecha/android anthros. He discovered the furry world in 1995 after purchasing his first computer, a Mac Performa 6205. He discovered he was not the only one with a Minotaur fantasy... and discovered the art of Gordon Spurlock. He attended AnthroCon in Albany and CF9 and met Paf Goodwin, Chris Sawyer, K-9, J Willard, RogMinotaur, Lionus, and many others.

His long time fur friend is Alex Rakune who resides in Framingham, Mass. and keeps up contact with his mentor, Gordon Spurlock. Currently his works are currently displayed on Fur Affinity and Deviant Art. This photo shows his only painting of his minotaur character, Nicodemus Minotaur. (http://furry.wikia.com/wiki/Image:ToRo.jpg) It portrays the artist as a minotaur... holding a red rose... which is a symbol for his last name. This painting was done in the summer of 1997.

Artist Profile:
Been drawing Minotaurs and other anthro/furry art since 1975. My favorite is, of course, the Minotaur. It was the Minotaur that awakened me to my sexuality in 1972, and I've been 'hooked' ever since. I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1959, and have been living in Florida since I left Cuba in 1969. I presently live in Plantation, FL. A town west of Ft. Lauderdale and north of Miami. If not drawing, listening to my record collection on either my vintage component system... or my pride, a 1946 RCA VIctor 'Victrola' Am Shortwave Radio/Phono console that has been restored.

This sexy hunk is my latest. I was drawing him while at work... when I was relieving someone at the information desk/cashier. You could say I was horny at the time... shit... I'm always horny!~ Moooo!~

It always looked to me like the lower part of the left horn was an eye, giving "his minotaur" a WTF?? look, kind of like this:
ToRo.jpg

But then, "his minotaur" was rather shocked at was he was forced to do.

That being said, the term artist gets looser and looser, eh?

Oh my, I thought the horn was an eye, just liked you showed. Only by proper inspection did I see it the way it was supposed to be.

I still don't get it. It's his eye or horn or what? How its supposed to be? It's one eye open and one closed ain't it?

His hair is more or less like this

iori2.jpg

The white that looks like a o_0 eye is just his horn (just like Iori's left shoulder on the pic). As in, his horn is behind the hair. You can only see his right eye in the pic, its a profile. He's looking ---> that way.
