Stash is an online rpg with turn based combat, massively customizable housing, and more loot than you can fit in a portable hole.

We want to bring the magic back to the MMO genre: immersive worlds, strong communities, and enjoyment through the entire game - not just at "end game."

What makes Stash special and unique?

  1. Turn based combat.
  2. Customizable housing is one of the two core features of the game, not just an add-on. Players own a part of the world.
  3. No level cap.
  4. No quest grinding.
  5. No Bind on Pickup.
  6. Focus on the whole game, not just "end game." In fact, with no level cap, there is no "end game."
  7. Interactive world that players can meaningfully change.
  8. Solo play and all group sizes are completely viable. Not just full groups or raid groups.
  9. An awesome world story with a unique twist that makes players part of the world story.

It's not a plant when they say they're paid by/part of the developers.

The focus on loot makes me think this game will just be a Skinner Box. Not interested. I also don't know how you would make a game with no level cap, or why anyone would think that's a good idea.

We took inspiration from classic Dungeons and Dragons tabletop gaming, Warhammer miniature gaming, the “Gold Box” AD&D video games, Baldur’s Gate, Planescape: Torment, Temple of Elemental Evil, and a variety of other turn based RPGs we have played over the years. We combined that with two decades of experience developing video games.

This is very pretentious stuff.

That's another thing: it doesn't look like any of the games it was supposedly inspired by. It looks like a generic iPhone game.

From the Trailer I'd say it looks like it could be fun for a short while, but nothing you'd play for longer. Also it will most probably be F2P, otherwise I would actually try it.

I had to laugh when they said "enjoy a world 18 years in the making" and we only see 500 copy-pasted trees.
The only thing I liked was the animation of the chest, so much "LOOOT" flying out of it!! OH MAN
