there are SO MANY people playing FO4
Yeah its really fun if not the greatest game ever, but i think people should give a try to smaller budget games recently released like COE 4 , its really worth it. Easy to play , 5 min to understand how it works, but enough depth could be almost Dominion 4 with just the battles.Yes 20 euros, its expensive, but everyone who owns it likes it.

Blaine is just going through his Bruticis 'I'm too good for this place' phase. It's adorable.

How about a compromise?

Remove the code that hides ignored posts but keep the ignore button. Even serial ignorers use the show ignored posts function to reply to people they are ignoring anyway. Awor even admitted to have a separate browser open but not logged in so he could see people he ignored in the shoutbox.

So remove the hide-posts-until-you-click-a-link part, but keep the lists so people can announce to the world which users aren't allowed in their safe space. Maybe even have a butthurt counter visible on peoples posts next to their brofist count.

I think that should leave nobody satisfied, which is what a good compromise is all about.

most of these problems could probably be averted if we had the rainbow button parade again, because people could more accurately express their feelings towards a specific post

Why give them a tag? Just send them to The Watch, where they will find other likeminded individuals who like shitty action games labeled as "RPG's"... :M

My mind read that as: Why contain it? Let it spill over the schools and churches, let the bodies pile up in the streets. In the end they'll beg us to save them

We need a tag for FO4 players
You mean some form of mandatory badge to distinguish them from pure-blooded Codexers?

Should probably designate and cordon off a forum or two for them to post in. We can put a sign on each one promising to set them free if they make LPs.

Just remembered that Gamefaqs lets you tag users with titles that only you can see, in addition to the regular ignore list. This could be useful for those who'd like to know which posts to skip but don't want conversations haunted by invisible people and click to read the posts of everyone they ignore anyway. For example:

While nothing is being done could someone look into restoring the ignoring functionality on Tapatalk?

FO4 enthusiasts are something quite different. A sizable chunk of this forum is shamelessly neck-deep in decline's ground zero. If there was ever a poster child for the decline, Bethesda's "Fallout" reboot is it.

This isn't debatable, it's not just a matter of opinion, it's not about wanting an "echo chamber" (no one can agree on anything here; what total nonsense)—wallowing in pure decline is anathema to what the RPG Codex should be about. It's not just the game itself (although that's part of it), but also supporting Bethesda Softworks, their products, and what they stand for. Anyone who advocates the game, even as a distracting time sink, or who supports Bethesda Softworks doesn't deserve a place at the table.
