Previous acquisitions have taken place for
between 2.5x and 3.5x of the owner's discretionary yearly cash flow.
Larger deals have been done at 4x to 5x.

Lol what a ripoff. The usual going rate has been 8x-12x for proven moneymaking sites.

Wow you should take up that offer, if they do take a minute or so to actually look into your 'cash flow' it'll be all like "You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting."

Yes, and make sure to cook up some extremely complicated books for them to go through.

DU could just put rpgcodex.net on kickstarter.

$50,000 perk is new owner of site.

Can do various other perks for moderators / admin / user names / "Get Out of Ban Free Cards" etc.

There is only one man who could rule the Codex with the iron fist it requires. DU is merely keeping the MENSA shirt warm until our true leader concludes his political career:

You realize that this is all just a ruse to get the rights to the kingcomrade movie, right?

And where does the Codex stand on this rating?

Awesome, so all Admins get a cut, right?

Actually, I'm a little scared. Do these people/bots see us call the RPG Codex a magazine and think we're serious?
Are you trying to say we're not a serious magazine?

Web of trust is basically a racket to allow them to remove bad reputations in exchange of "protection money", it is widely decried on the Internet. It means absolutely nothing.

Tell them your site does earn that and unlock GD so they can see this website in all its glory.
They might like it.

The "humans" in that picture are obviously aliens from another planet, looking to take over the codex. No person in their right mind would appear that happy. It's a setup. Perhaps moles from RPGWatch or other RPG site. Either way, it's something sinister, definitely.

It certainly isn't the "be all, end all" judge of websites and isn't perfect by any means but it's an add-on that has saved me and countless others from accidentally visiting malware pages. So yes, it does mean something.
