Back in 1995, following the release of the legendarily crappy Ultima VII port for SNES, an SNES port of Worlds of Ultima: Savage Empire that used the same engine was released in Japan. Unfortunately(?) it never got an English translation.

Yeah, seems like a waste of time, but maybe it'll be worth a lulzy LP if they ever finish it.

I was just reading about this port yesterday for some reason, never knew it existed. According to this, it was actually translated, but never released in the US.

I can tell you that this game actually WAS translated to English but the English translation was never released. I was one of 2 game testers for the English version of this game during my time at Origin.
