Shieeeeeet... Self-ejection by Bubbles is now official... And I still hoped it would end differently. :negative:

I've always said, the problem with Torment drama is that it's harder to conjure up Codex outrage over narrative - and harder to critique in a review. "Well, I didn't like the characters" or "I didn't think the story had enough mystery" is a lot less visceral than "OMG THIS GAME WASTED MY TIME WITH ARMIES OF TANK N' SPANK TRASH MOBS AAAAAAAAARGH". Torment isn't going to have that stuff.

So, not expecting so much. Maybe I'll be surprised, though.

I'm sure you'll find a way to create some, Dramatron.

Didn't he go around blocking everyone from the codex on Steam aka the sea method? Doesn't get more official than that.
I wouldn't know, he didn't have me on his friend list. From the Codexers I only have Infinitron, t, Jedi Master Radek, Elhoim/Oscar (Iron Tower) and Nick (Iron Tower) on my list.

You underestimate the Codex. From what I saw, expect lots of "THE FLOOR MOVES - LOL, SO RANDOM - GENIUS!!!"

Most of us don't know English well enough to do it or don't have the skills. Bubbles was one of the good guys but apparently he didn't have thick enough skin. Konjad tried to post something but he was rejected by Infinitron anyway.

Konjad has had a bunch of reviews posted. That one was just particularly bad.

Actually, now that I think about it, VentilatorOfDoom ended up unspiking it like a year later and posting it. It was his Prelude to Darkness review.

Haha oops. Blatant SJW content - the great exception. It better not have any!

SoD's "drama" seemed to me more like people laughing at how terrible it all was, and the few who actually played it said it was meh at best.

The review reflected that, imo. It's IE in the end.

The reactions would've different one year ago or two, though.

Yeah this. I would love to do reviews but my english kinda sucks and I'm intimidated by all the seriously well written reviews on the front page bc no way can I write a 20 page essay about in depth game mechanics lol
Have to start somewhere though. No one (few people?) start off perfectly.

There are some of us who would gladly edit reviews if needed. That really shouldn't be an excuse.

True, like changing "PoE is shit" to "PoE is awesome".

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't be able to write decently in Polish, let alone English. Maybe Scrooge will try to do it though, it seems she wants to do it but is afraid we will laugh.

Well if the structure is good, misspellings and incorrect diction/syntax (English-wise) can be fixed with a bit of effort. So if anyone is up for it I'd volunteer to edit. I do technical business writing (as well as editing) as part of my job, so I don't think it'd be a stretch to edit a codex review from a potato or otherwise.

Imagine what would happen if you people would spend even the tiniest amount of all the energy you spend here on making actual content for this site. Then again...
:shitandpiss:

This IS some of the most entertaining content produced on the site.
