  1. Critical hits against the player

As moronic as he can be, plenty of people here easily outstrip him in their moronaeity.
  2. MR Teatime blows Bethesda a new one

    Wow, that was unreadable.
  3. Bethesda's Fallout game, not named "Fallout 3"

Fallout 3: the quest for more money.
  4. Character sacrifice in party-based RPG

The stat boost was quite a lot. The big problem is that you did not know you were going to find an altar or what it would do til you came up on it. The altars of the good gods offered +2-3 to one stat and these offered about +10. So if you take them all your main character will be...
  5. Character sacrifice in party-based RPG

It actually did mean a fair amount to me because I sacrificed the wrong person and could not finish the game. In that game you did not really know this was something you'd be doing and the places of sacrifice were too hard to find to just go back to them later. You would literally have to...
  6. Fallout statistics?

I've done my part. NOW ANSWER ME.
  7. Fallout statistics?

I have been wondering a few things about fallout and fallout 2, but RPGs in general. Is there any way to find out how many quests, how many NPCs,a nd how many words of dialog each of these games have? I mean without going through all the dat files, that is.
  8. Character sacrifice in party-based RPG

Magic candle II, or was it three? I think three. You can sacrifice your party members to the gods to get better stats.
  9. The current Western RPG era will simply lack a legacy

It's like saying "If only the geeks had gotten all the hot girls in high school instead of the stupid jocks. My life would be so much better now."
  10. NWN2: Mask of the betrayer announced. O RLLY?

Sounds like a bad installation or corrupt savegame.
  11. NWN2 Patch 1.05 final and new entry in nwn2 blog.

Extra buttons are good, I guess, but why make the most basic thing someone would want to do something that require a bizarre mouse or mouse-keyboard action. If the NWN team designed a car the steering wheel would work the windshield wipers and you would have to use morse code to the parking...
  12. LATEST RUMARZ: Dragon Age goes PS3

Are there any examples where one or both of these didn't happen?
  13. Saving a game in Wizardry 6?

Well, there was no midi so I don't see how you could have gotten it. It only used the pc speaker. The sounds it put out though it were pretty good, though. Gate crashing, etc.
  14. UFO: ALIEN INVASION 2.1 RELEASED!

Yeah, a satelite picture from 3 years ago eliminates all though of fog of war. Or maybe not.
