    Baldur's Gate Baldur's Gate 3 RELEASE THREAD

I'm glad you enjoy your druid. What subclass? Spore goes well with Drow hand xbows? However... why did you not use aoe spells on your Warlock? They are also very strong with them. I hope you were not spamming Hex...

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Currently level 30. So, Fighter feels pretty good. At least playing it doesn't feel like cheating (Thief) and he's not slow as molasses as the Warrior. Indeed, he's a good climber and the really nice thing is that Gouging Skewering the cyclops eye with Almace leads to a rather fast freeze and...

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Well, smoke Bomba at least has limited range and short duration. Smokescreen on the other hand...

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Thank you, but how do you even start targetting it? Oh maybe I need some kind of target lock? Never used it in DD so far....

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Is it possible to actually aim Thief Ensnare / Implicate? Its a great ability, but I'm always just shooting the rope forward (and missing enemies who are for example, below me). Meanwhile I though it could be used to aim upwards/downwards at harpies and shiiiet.

    Baldur's Gate Baldur's Gate 3 RELEASE THREAD

I think at this point, we're safe to assume wizard scroll learning unlimited by levels is to stay. Nothing indicates otherwise... and its a part of a lot of builds out there.

Incline Of the Big Three, which is your favorite? (Fallout, PS:T, Arcanum)

Yes, the Arcanum character creation and development is very nice. Magick / Technology interaction / tradeoff too. The "inventions" and robust magical system - though its as unbalanced as it gets. Sadly there's more to gameplay then character creation. And for example, Arcanum combat is some of...

    Baldur's Gate Baldur's Gate 3 RELEASE THREAD

Very much worth it IMO. Includes many balance changes that should have been implemented in all game modes IMO. Bosses get new abilities. A vast improvement over Tactician. And if you slip... its not a huge deal, really. You can continue playing with Honor ruleset and better bosses, you simply...

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

That's great information, thank you! But does a Fighter have some high stagger move for bosses, like Mountain Breaker or Powder Charge? Does Shield Bash play this role perhaps?

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Warrior felt to me too slow and sluggish somehow... even though it seems like a straight upgrade from DDDA, where I mostly only played Warrior. Maybe stuff didn't die there quite as fast... and I didn't have to chase small enemies around this much? IDK. So I'm giving the Thief a spin. Who is...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Bugged I can cope with. Unfinished? I've kinda came to expect this in crpgs. But bad mechanics and/or character development? Needing to self-nerf to incur a challenge? Those are cardinal sins in my book.

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Well, I did buy the game at full price, but after dicking around in the character creator and briefly playing the prologue, I'm hesitant to devote more time to it. Atmosphere might be great, but everything I've read so far about the combat mechanics, balancing and abilities really troubles me.
