  1. Review Vault Dweller reviews Dragon Age

Agree with vd da is improved over previous be games for rp and rt combat design is good tho lacks balance. Quest / story is Meh.
  2. Why are all game maps so square?

 Maps of our world are not supposed to be square, there is just a convention of where a map should be centered. OP's issue are the PC knowing where the 'boundaries' are, and not running into arbitrary limits, something which never happens on planet Earth in spite of the map...
  3. AOD Combat Demo Impressions

Anybody else had this odd graphical glitch on chargen screen? Only option I changed is disable full screen. I also got the stupid "DOS loaded into upper memory block" message when the demo launches.

  7. Baldur's Gate 1/2 gameplay is total shit.

Hack the game to play solo F/M/T/C.

    Good review
  9. First ZRPG screenshot

Neo-Codex doesn't do game design discussion anymore. They're "TLDR", or "inane" "lectures". Admire the pretty grafix and stfu.
  10. First ZRPG screenshot

Maybe something in between the two extremes? Maybe?
  11. Abstracting Dialog

    You're hilarious, now fuck off
  12. 2009 is almost over...

Then I can count down to 23.59 Canadian time on the 25th. How big is the download?
  13. 2009 is almost over...

Countdown begun... Vince just added a Combat Demo FAQ/readme on ITS forums.
  14. Abstracting Dialog

So in this thread we brainstorm how to transform dialog into gameplay similar to combat. Starting points: The actual content of the dialog is irrelevant. No 'dialog trees'. Contextual meaning of phrases is ignored. Outcome is based purely on stats and strategy/player judgment. The purpose...
