  1. Bioshock Infinite - the $200 million 6 hour literally on rails interactive movie with guns thread

Ken Levine: 'We are building a Rapture-based narrative experience" Narrative Experience? These guys are basically admitting they aren't making computer games anymore. I guess they are afraid they won't be taken seriously by fellow creative big-shots if they admit the truth. Isn't that why...
  2. Broken Age - Double Fine's Kickstarter Adventure Game

It almost, just almost, makes me understand why Publishers (Business Men) are such complete dicks to Developers (Creative Types). You give a game developer an inch of freedom and they'll be off developing their dream game with their head in the clouds. Sure, it's an admirable pursuit, but...
  3. ME3 tidbits

Considering how little your choices in ME1 carried over into ME2, I'm interested to see how they transition between ME2 and ME3. I get the feeling all the unwanted characters from ME2 are gonna get killed off in the first reaper attack cutscene. Or they might even have to go for the 'canon' ME2...
  4. EA confirms March 29 release for Mass Effect 2 Arrival DLC

It's total crap. Only good bit is when you get to shoot some bitch just as she begins her big death speech. At least that way you don't have to listen to the terrible voice acting + dialogue. Overall, I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 + 2. But after playing this, I fear the worst for ME3.
  5. For all the weeaboo's and Rance rape lovers out there.

So +1 year for the translation, right? I can't wait that long...
  6. Red Dead Redemption: Is it good?

It you don't like GTA4, you won't like this. Rockstar haven't advanced the genre one iota. 90% of RDR is traveling between locations. Sure, you can fast travel, but then you can't gawp at the enviroments, which are brilliant: some of the best – maybe the best - graphics I've ever seen in a...
  7. Dominions 3 PBEM proposal

Sent my turn file. Sorry for the delay, I only saw the turn this morning. I thought the game was off for some reason.
  8. What do people like about Bioshock?

The voice acting, writing and setting were the highlights for me. It's worth a play through.
  9. So what did you think of Portal?

The humour definately seemed like the writers were trying too hard. Played through it once, have no real desire to play it again.
  10. World War II....In space and with loli!

I hope there is an English version. As much as I hate to admit it, Sengoku Rance is one of the best games I've played for a long time. Simple mechanics, plently of strategic options and C&C. It's not often I replay a game 2+ times. Plus, intentional or not, it is very funny - which always helps.
  11. Let's get horribly raped in TFTD! Orgasm now running things!

Wow, survived a mission. I had a feeling my guy wouldn't make it out of the shuttle.
  12. Let's get horribly raped in TFTD! Orgasm now running things!

Sign me up, all I want is one alien scalp - that's it.
  13. New AP Gameplay Footage

I'm looking forward to it. I hope it's more Bond than Bourne or Bauer though.
  14. Fuding our own crpg: A serious discussion.

Do a hobby project to test the water. Find an engine where you can focus exclusively on making game content FAST. Every minute spent working on a game is a minute closer to getting sick of the whole thing - remember, unlike game devs, you're not getting paid for your efforts. After you've come...
