Crispy™ Dawn of Andromeda - Now released on Early Access

It's out. Pretty damn good, one of the surprises of the year for me. A hell of a lot more fun than stellaris or galciv3 imo.

    KickStarter Grim Dawn

I have the same issue. I can run most games released this year and the last in the high to highest settings, but a game that screams 2005 runs at a steady 25 fps in some areas ? Troika didn't die for this

    4X M.O.R.E. - Oldschool turn-based 4X space strategy

Don't get me wrong, but the only person who seems butthurt is you. I agree to an extent that it's rich coming from you to criticize a game that is actually out (though in EA) when all we have from you is a game that looks amateurish at best, seems like MOO clone number 99999 and more...

Strategy games which include ancient civilization?

The soundtrack at least seems historically accurate.

KickStarter System Shock 1 Remake by Nightdive Studios

Between console games and the unity asset store made playable gonorrhea that's been plaguing Steam since last year, I'd rather chose the former any day. And what worries me the most isn't the remake itself, it's what may come up later because apparently they are thinking about further milking...

KickStarter System Shock 1 Remake by Nightdive Studios

Night Dive Studios ? Who the fuck are they, and the fuck are they doing with one of my favourite IPs of all time ? A small search yielded this beauty: http://mousenjoypad.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/03_-_Battle.jpg This is the last and apparently only game they made. WHAT THE FUCK

    4X M.O.R.E. - Oldschool turn-based 4X space strategy

"it's almost in ready for a Single Player version (albeit without AI) " wat. Over 3 years now and they haven't started work on the AI ? This one line is also a gem: "We spent 2 and a half hours looking at (playing?) M.O.R.E. together. M.O.R.E. didn't crash even once" I know you're looking...

    4X M.O.R.E. - Oldschool turn-based 4X space strategy

2D art and specially UI looks amateurish at best, as for the 3D side of things I'd suggest you play any game, or even better any 4X game released after 2002 and compare. A fugly bloom filter on top of things doesn't suddenly make it up to today's standards. And as for the comparison with moo2...

    4X M.O.R.E. - Oldschool turn-based 4X space strategy

Check the dictionary cocksplurt. "Overcrowded genre" is not the same as "lots of quality games". Those I just mentioned were due for 2016 only, let alone those released this year and in recent years.

    4X M.O.R.E. - Oldschool turn-based 4X space strategy

"you realize that what you said is a compliment, right? The UI and the 2D art at least is superrior to anything released recently" what "I recomment watching the 8 promotional videos depicting the features of this game. Personally I was pretty impressed by the degree of customization...

    4X M.O.R.E. - Oldschool turn-based 4X space strategy

Features list make it sound like its a by the numbers 4x, which we have plenty already, the graphics say 1996 at best and extremely low budget and slow development tells me its going to be released in a terrible state, if at all. I find it impossible to feel even slightly interested by this...

Grand Strategy Stellar Monarch: Turn based 4X space empire builder

No, it isn't a massive exaggeration for anyone who follows this area with any degree of attention, it is quite obvious in fact. Like I said in my post after the one you quoted, saturated market doesn't mean quality games and I never claimed it was the case, on the contrary. Never said there...

Grand Strategy Stellar Monarch: Turn based 4X space empire builder

Have you been living under a rock ? Check space sector and compare the upcoming releases+plus those made in the last two years, and compare with the years before. Like Destroid said, it's been more quantity over quality but it's saturated nonetheless. It's worth noting that there's been some...

Grand Strategy Stellar Monarch: Turn based 4X space empire builder

Argh this could be a nice little 4x game if it was free, as a commercial product it doesn't stand a chance in what is already a over saturated 4x market. Mimicking moo1 and 2 has been done to death already and I don't see what's significantly different here, plus there's FreeOrion for free...
