    Amiga Dungeoneering Collection

Interesting write up, but gee, sort of strange take on K's work...This assembly I think is more along the lines of a public service--certainly not "piracy" as many of these games are unavailable anywhere today. A few are, but there's no charge on them--to wit, the Bard's Tale Series. I had no...

Me, too...;) The Amiga collection is fantastic and I so appreciate the work K has done--! Just great...;) I've been dusting off and playing the Eye of the Beholder I/II games again...picked up the GOG versions in addition to my originals (which are no doubt in 880k Amiga floppy heaven these...

Incline Wizardry 8 Enhancements - A Call to Arms!

.90 Working for for me in Win10--all builds so far. No conflicts with .NET whatever. Now on build 10130--built an .iso from the .esd's Microsoft released. Thanks for all of your work, K. I've been keeping up here for the last year or two and checking in regularly. Looking forward to the 1.0...

A kindred spirit...;) Yes, at one time EA was big on the Amiga...! Takes me back...

    Amiga Dungeoneering Collection

That's the weird thing...it shouldn't be any more difficult for Gog to sell Amiga titles with the emulators--very much like what K has done here...! I can't think of what the problem for GOG might be unless it's a question of IP rights...while many of these games were Amiga originals, a good...

    Amiga Dungeoneering Collection

I played both the Bard's Tale and Starflt on the PC first (I owned a Tandy 1000 back in '86, IIRC), and then looked at them both a couple of years later when they hit the Amiga--and both of them were dramatically better once farmed to the Amiga. The Bard's Tale I remember most for its much...

Starflight Amiga was by far the best version of that game--included a "modern" savegame manager and a mouse interface that actually worked well...;) Much better music, etc. Have to run it to really appreciate how poor the x86 original version looked and played comparatively.

    Amiga Dungeoneering Collection

I know what you mean...;)...but back then many of the Amiga games ran on 880k 3.5" floppies (hard drives came much later), so whatcha' gonna' do but grin and bear it?...:D

    Amiga Dungeoneering Collection

During the Hercules/monochrome/CGA PC days, you couldn't even find a game box that didn't say on the back "Screenshots shown are from the Commodore Amiga game version. Others may vary." Heh...;) There was no "may" about it--the "others" did vary and a great deal, too. The Amiga had graphics...

Is the 1.0RC mentioned in the read.me out yet--have I missed it somewhere on the site? knock-knock...anybody home?

    Amiga Dungeoneering Collection

WinUAE is actually extremely easy to use--99% of Amiga games run perfectly with A500 Kickstart and the bog-standard, default WinUAE settings...People vastly overcomplicate WinUAE because it is *theoretically* so powerful and has so much fun stuff to experiment with..! Really, most of it isn't...

It's Christmas...! I have to take some time off from being "The Superior One" to humbly thank thee for thine hard work...! Thank you K! Great friggin' collection...! I've been using WinUAE for years & lately even Cloanto's Amiga Forever packages...and some of the games you've repacked I have...

I really got to enjoy the realtime/turn-based mechanics of the latter games, did you? I didn't stint at changing modes in the middle of a fight when it provided a tactical advantage--turn based I feel was *almost* cheating because it neatly staggered your attacks per opponent "automagically,"...
