Burden is essentially feature complete!

Now we are starting a new wave of playtesting to balance and debug. Only remaining gameplay feature is 'Mindsets' (a leadership lite skill tree).

Burden of Command is a leadership RPG. You will pick leadership Mindsets like Cunning, Discipline, Professionalism or Caution to define your style. These Mindsets effect narrative and gameplay. How will you lead in this turn based tactical RPG?

The Cottonbalers (7th Regiment/3rd Infantry Division) drew in part on Mexican-American population at the time. For example, PFC Jose Valdez was a Medal of Honor winner and Cottonbaler.

So we wanted to include an Hispanic officer as an option.

Is this a serious question? While the existing one may appear generic, it is still light years better than the alternative. What is even the point of that hand?

I suspect they just want to tell the artist something along the lines of "See retard, no one likes you shitty idea, now fuck off." Internal politics of the studio and all that.
