I didn't know such a patch existed. The game's fun even if you just use godmode in its second half.

Speaking of such a patch, I heard some time ago that Alien vs. Predator had such a patch that enabled quicksaving
Any word on how it changes the game experience?
I found the first game to be incredibly scary to the point that I could bring myself to finish more than the first missions of the predator and the marine and that was partly because I was afraid of every alien encounter as it would lead to certain death.

There isn't any combat in the first part of the game. It got weaker as it went on due to the combat though.

iirc you just shove that in the DCoTE folder and run it from there.
