GameBanshee Article: Journey Through Zamedi

For whatever reason a newspost wasn't made about this article, so here it is for those of you that don't frequent Iron Tower Studio on a regular basis. Have fun.

Goddammit this game must come out soon. Great little blurb on the game too.
VD has outdone himself (along with his little drones).

Good stuff, I feel pride that my slight (as in barely) contribution to the game was more clothing to certain female armors.

Though it seems like there is a lot of dialogue for the sake of being dialogue. The characters kinda speak in monologues. I mean, it's incredibly interesting, to be sure, but it's not realistic.

Interesting > realistic imo. It's not like the concept of post-apocalyptic Rome is realistic in the first place either. If something is interesting but unrealistic, it's ok to me. Other way around? No thanks.

'logical' would be a more appropriate term here.
hearing through pages of monologue isn't very logical in quite many situations, and can be 'fixed' by splitting up long texts into smaller segments giving the player the option to cut the npc off, walk away, or finish the monologue in other ways, though the consequences of that might or might not be hard to implement.
having nearly all npcs spout walls of text each time they want something done isn't that logical either. it makes them all appear to share the same collective personality.

it's a witty reference to the Codex hivemind.
