That's because they removed it from their store. Likely because nobody bought the fucking thing.

This seems to be Games Workshop's latest trend: make shit in limited quantities so you can say it's special edition and all the collectors jump on it so you're sold out in 24 hours. Sure, you lose some money to the after-market sales but it's the price of selling all your stock in one go.

Except that it doesn't always work: Forge World initially released the fourth book in the Horus Heresy series in a 2000 copy limited run, trying to sell them all before putting the normal version up for sale. To this day still over 200 of them are for sale despite the normal one being up for sale and far less expensive. This is likely because the fourth Horus Heresy book is shit and insists on describing the Imperial Guard of the 31st millenium and several Knight households rather than continue to describe more of the Space Marine Legions, their Primarchs and special units.

Games Workshop released Smaug, their biggest and most expensive model not made by Forge World.

Weighing in at 2.4kgs, the height of the miniature from the bottom of the base to the tip of Smaug’s™ wing is 8.4 inches (or 21.4 cm). The base is 9.2 inches (or 23.1 cm) long and 5.4 inches (or 13.3 cm) wide.

So the thing's the size of a small dog. Price? Nearly 500 Kwabucks or just under 400 Eurodollars. They only made a few prior to Christmas, but more should be on the way.

And, in a display of suspicious generousity, GW made his rules available for free. Download while you still can.

...their biggest and most expensive model not made by Forge World.

Height - 8.4 inches.
Length - 9.2 inches.
Width - 5.4 inches.

So in other words, complete bullshit like usual.

Wish they'd make Horus Heresy fluffbooks for mere mortals like me which would have the HH books fluff but without being all colour and without all these army lists and campaign mechanics.

And there's the new Codex-Necrons! What exciting new models are up for purchase with this latest release?
