Images dont appear in signatures anymore?

Hi, just a small issue, images like this don't seem to appear in signatures anymore, could this change be reversed?

Those are just images, actual emojis require special support from the forum platform. Twiglard is image support meant to be gone for good or did someone just break it?

It was disabled on purpose by someone who's not me. Maybe complaining will help. Who knows.

smilies hosted on the forum really shouldn't be in a sig, they're hard to single out for blocking

just reupload them somewhere, if you have to

We had signature images disabled on XF1. Policy will be carried over into XF2.

You will have to content yourself with superior text-based signatures.
