Narrow MOTB Question: Day/Night Cycle

Did the day/night cycle in MOTB have any role whatsoever outside the lake portal and the alleyway portal in Mulsantir? Just seems weird that they put in the whole "rest until dusk/dawn" dynamic for those two spots, but I can't think of it mattering anywhere else.

Well there is the beach where you can get in to the slumbering coven. You need to rest until dusk to get the shadow portal open in there.

But I think that's it.

That's why the Drow hate the other elves, who are the cool kids with sunglasses who'll push the Drow down the stairs and all that.
