All in all, I think I'm going to enjoy this game definately for what it is. It looks like an entertaining game for the 360. I'm still uncertain about the combat tho'.

Actually, for no good reason I'd pulled out a Live album I haven't listened to in about ten years and as I was checking this thread, I heard that bald guy banging on about Shepherd.

Well Shepard is a military grunt, so being pissed off and express that should be a given.

Obviously Bio is afraid to show some deeper dialogs [i.e. What is love?] due to spoiler danger, still, what I've seen in these recent videos definitely impressed me. A must-buy once it gets released on PC.

The combat system seems very similar to what has been explained about VATS.

Yes, it was great. However, it just seemed that when you choose the intimidate and charm option, you get the same ending to dialogue e.g. the bad guys disappears, even saying the exact same things...

However, the dialogue with Wrex and Liara and other NPCs in this game are pure awesomeness.
As for the military grunt, yes you can play the game as a military grunt, but you can also play the game as a diplomatic character, if you so choose.
