Since Codex is crawling with mentally challenged people who fail at searching and keep whining, hereby I present you a few simple tips in:

Internet Nigger's Handbook to e-Stalking Google Search

Code:
  [site:] : duh!

        Eg: site:rpgcodex.net trannies
______________________________________________________________________

[intitle:] : Only brings pages with (or without) those
words or that phrase in thread/page title.

          Eg:
             Threads about SMA:
             site:rpgcodex.net intitle:SMA
             site:rpgcodex.net intitle:ScottishMartialArts

Threads about SMA where Kaiserin has (likely) also posted:
             site:rpgcodex.net intitle:SMA +"dirk diggler"
             site:rpgcodex.net intitle:ScottishMartialArts +"dirk diggler"

Same as above BUT without Kaiserin in the thread/page title:
             site:rpgcodex.net intitle:SMA -intitle:kaiserin -intitle:dirk diggler +"dirk diggler"

______________________________________________________________________

 [+] , [-] and ["] : To force-include, force-exclude and exact phrases.
Using [+] or phrases will also exclude close approximations
in search results (like when you search for 'redecolous' but
                      also get results for 'ridiculous').
You can combine the [+] and [-] with phrases.

                     Eg:
                     site:rpgcodex.net +trannies +ScottishMartialArts
                     (for pages with both keywords)

                     site:rpgcodex.net +trannies +ScottishMartialArts -kaiserin -"dirk diggler"
(for pages with the first two keywords but without the latter two)
______________________________________________________________________
= SORTING RESULTS BY DATE =

[ &tbs=qdr:nX,sbd:1 ] : Search with time range and sorting by date.
Just add this key to the end of the URL of your search query

                        n: Time unit. Accepts s / h / d / w / m / y
(yes, that's s for seconds and h for hours. Cool, huh?)

                        X: amount of time unit.
Omitting this returns results for 1 unit for that time, uh, unit.

sbd: Search by date. Only accepts the value of 1,
otherwise is ignored and results are sorted by relevance.

Eg: Let's search for SMA's posts in the last two weeks:

 http://www.google.com/search?q=site:rpgcodex.net+%2Bscottishmartialarts+%2B"tranny+whore"&tbs=qdr:w2,sbd:1

(to filter results of people quoting SMA,
we also include her special tag, "Tranny Whore")
                        (We don't exclude "ScottishMartialArts wrote"
to filter quote results because that will also
filter the pages that include both SMA's post
                        and the quote)

You can also set a specific range of dates
but you can just use to the tools on the left
pane or in advanced search options for that.

Also note that this key has gone through
                        name changes in the past
                        (last iteration was 'as_qdr=mx,sbd').
If it stops working for you, just use the left
pane tools to see the new form.

But pernaps DU could add a few options to the Codexified Google Search page to automate these keys into the search query? It should be easy enough a task.

Typing all that stuff isn't the next-gen way. I want an awesome button to press.

Seriously now DU, please do what villain suggests if it's not too much troubble.

Additionally, if you are looking for posts by a specific poster, adding his or her join date to your query maximizes your chances of finding all posts by that poster.

Let's search for Alexandros' posts in the last 4 days. Looks like his post above hasn't yet registered with Google. His last post on Google is from 10 hours ago. Searching for my own posts, the most recent one is from an hour ago. Just something to keep in mind.

So basically, DU could bring "Find all posts by [poster]" in profile page and regular search for thread names, key words and time range back (leaving word search with wildcards and searching for words from specidic posters out) using Google just fine. Just automate the search query to look for poster's name, join date in the profile page and the key for date range and sorting (&tbs=qdr:y100,sbd:1) for both.

This is actually pretty clever. Thanks for the tip. :salute:

I insist this be made sticky, possibly in all forums. Lots of lazy internet niggers resorting to "since search doesn't work..." bullshit, lately.

You can't always get what you want.
