pes 11 if you want to have fun



manual passing on pes is working , you can put the ball where you want to

on fifa if you want to manual pass you will rage that the ball is not there where you want it to be or that the player is not moving towards it.

Judging the fact also that manual passing in pes is the only option and in fifa you change it to assisted mode 90% of online players will be using assisted passing on fifa so manual in fifa is pointless.


also if you are planning on multiplayer pes 11 gets champions league online while fifa on pc has shit

Pes6 was so good. The mode where you were given a crappy team of joke players (I still remember some, like Ordaz and Minanda) was genius.

FIFA 2010 was the best multiplayer foootball game ever IMO, and really multiplayer is the point of football games. Get a group of lads, some beer, watch a footy match, then many hours of FIFA was pretty unmatched, and so much fun. Single player always gets pretty boring, especially as the manager mode is so ridiculously stupid and unbalanced once you have played some Football Manager. Also, I hope they increase the difficult of Legendary or even add a higher difficulty setting. Once you've played enough FIFA Legendary becomes pretty simple, can never really offer anything like the challenge of decent human players.

Also, despite the Codex being a hub of PC elitists, you HAVE to play FIFA on a console

Multiplayer is so not simple

In FIFA all you need to know are the proper 'sweet spots' and you will score 100% .

In PES it's not possible because depending on players current form and ability he will put the ball wide or it will not be strong enough depending how much power you will give.
FIFA is made to be alooooooooooot more forgiving , shots curve in like bananas into the net.
Its an 'enjoyable' game for 'everyone' , while PES is not.
PES is aiming to be something more.

They are both about football but one to another is like diablo and baldurs gate RPGs

To sum up , if you are in age range between 5-20 and looking for an arcade football get FIFA

If you are 21-rest and want to have a more realistic football experience get PES.

Yeah I will admit, in FIFA 10 (and to a lesser extent 09) finesse shots have been MASSIVELY overpowered. However, from what i've played of FIFA 11 demo, the easy pin pong passing of old has been thrown out, and the easiness of finesse shooting has too. With those couple of adjustments it should be great
