Species specific dialog?

I just played the early stages of Arcanum as a Dwarf (an EVIL Dwarf), and I was soundly disappointed (esp as seeing any such changes was the main reason I did that, though I enjoyed being EVIL along the way) by how little Magnus changes. He brushes it off as being from a different clan, then still goes on about dwarf traditions.

How often should species/race play a factor in dialog? Magnus is an obvious example (his character should make such options obvious), but should there be any difference beyond the random NPC?

As often as it would make sense in the context.

It's hard to provide any answer beyond that without knowing the specific context.

Is it actually possible to fully oust Magnus as being a Heroic Dwarf Larper? I remember one encounter with another dwarf recognising him as being a shoe salesman or something, but Magnus brushes that off as a mistake. Is it possible to get him to admit that he's about as Mountain Dwarfish as Sammy Davis Jr. was Jewish?
