Star Wars: Rebellion/Supremacy, Yay or Nay?

I remember trying it at a friends, briefly, but not long enough to really form an opinion (other than the UI seemed a bit clunky). I recently got a reminder to try it again. Is it worth the effort, or will it give me herpes?

I also enjoyed SW:Rebellion, but for the most part playing as the Rebels. The only way I was able to win as the Empire was to blow up every planet with the Deathstar until the rebels had no place left to run. From the reviews I have seen, most reviewers didn't like it. The players at Gamespot gave it a 7.6 from 577 votes though!

I kind of liked it. It had some good mechanics, but it was way to easy and you come strategies you had to use was a bit gamey.

Decent early/mid-game, worst endgame imaginable. The Empire wins by using the Deathstar to blow up every planet. The rebels have a decent endgame in HQ victory mode, but normal mode is just going to make them quit the game when they realize that in order to capture Vader/Palpatine they have to control every planet.

Rebellion is loads of fun, however it has severe balancing problems between agents and everything else in the game.

Even though I honestly wanted to be sucked into the game the atrocious interface just killed it for me...

I remember liking it very much back in the day when I had a shareware of it... those were the days.

I liked it too, though I agree totally with dragonfk regarding the UI.
