this month's episode: porting classics (i suggest this as a sountrack)

interplay announced to port the rollercoasterlike classic "descent" to the wii. so apart from filling countless buckets with vomit, you'll also strain your arm in the process now... or as herve puts it:

a move nobody saw coming... apart from people who have been watching their recent recycling efforts on their website (they also have a go at stonekeep for the wii btw.).

not sure this will even be profitable... all those ports are handled by outside development studios and wiiware titles are 2000 wiipoints max (which is about 20 euros), with nintendo presumably getting a rather large share of that. every game has to go through a nintendo evaluation as well, which might get the stonekeep ice queen in trouble.
