Welcome to the Blackwell Mega LP. Blackwell Legacy is the first game in the Blackwell series developed by Wadjet Eye Games, the same folks who brought us The Shivah and its x-treme rabbinism. Other two games in the series are Blackwell Unbound and Blackwell Convergence, which we will also be playing.

I have very much no idea what this game is about, since it's the first time I'm playing it, except for the description on the main site saying that the main character - Rosangela Blackwell - is some kind of a medium blablabla. I guess we'll see what the fuss is all about as we get deeper.

Blackwell: Legacy
Blackwell: Unbound
Blackwell: Convergence
Blackwell: Deception
Blackwell: Epiphany

First time I saw this, I thought she's holding a cat she's about to throw overboard.

rosa1.jpg
Years of watching and waiting and hoping, and it comes down to this. Do I love you? Do I miss you? I don't know for sure. I hardly know you.

legacy0014.jpg

legacy0015.jpg

legacy0016.jpg

Turns out it was an urn.

legacy0017.jpg

After which she leaves the bridge.

legacy0019.jpg

But wait, what's this?

legacy0020.jpg

And it goes out with a pop!

Ominous!

legacy0021.jpg

legacy0022.jpg

legacy0023.jpg

Abe Goldfarb = Rabbi Stone :smug:

legacy0024.jpg

legacy0025.jpg

legacy0026.jpg

legacy0027.jpg

legacy0028.jpg

rosa1.jpg
At least I'm home now.

legacy0030.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Uh... hi?

legacy0033.jpg

legacy0034.jpg

No rabbinical dialogue options :(

rosa1.jpg
Huh?

jim.jpg
Seriously, who are you to see? I can't let you in unless you tell me.

rosa1.jpg
Uh... I live here?

jim.jpg
No, you don't. I know everybody in the building, I don't know you.

What is this trickery? Have we been sent into an ALTERNATE DIMENSION?!?!?

legacy0042.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Who the hell are you?

jim.jpg
Jim Burdo.

rosa1.jpg
Allright, Jim. Where's the regular doorman?

jim.jpg
Jeez, where have you been? He's on strike.

rosa1.jpg
He's what?

jim.jpg
Strike. All the building servicemen in the city are doing it. Union rules, or something. I stepped in to help, because I know everybody.

Nope, this guy's just a douchebag.

rosa1.jpg
Why didn't anybody tell me?

jim.jpg
Notices were posted all over the building, I put 'em up myself. If you lived here, you'd have seen 'em.

rosa3.jpg
I don't pay attention to things like that.

jim.jpg
Well, that's not my problem.

legacy0058.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Listen, I really live here. Fourth floor, number 4E.

jim.jpg
Isn't that apartment empty?

rosa3.jpg
NO! *I* live there, and I wan't to go there, thank you very much.

jim.jpg
Hm, maybe you're telling the truth. Do you have any ID? A driver's license, or something?

rosa3.jpg
Yes! I have a driver's license, it's... upstairs, in my desk drawer.

rosa2.jpg
Crap.

rosa3.jpg
Come on, this is New York! Who actually drives?

jim.jpg
True, but I still can't let you in unless you prove you live here.

This guy is getting on my nerves.

legacy0076.jpg

rosa1.jpg
How long is the strike going to last?

jim.jpg
Dunno, could be a couple of hours or a couple of days. Depends whether they reach a settlement.

legacy0081.jpg

rosa1.jpg
I have my apartment key, will that do?

jim.jpg
Sorry, no. That could be any key.

...

rosa1.jpg
Well, let's go upstairs and see if it fits.

jim.jpg
And leave the door unattended? Can't do it, sorry.

FUUUUUUUU...

legacy0087.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Ok, I have no ID, and you don't know me. What can I do to prove that I live here?

jim.jpg
Well, can anyone in the building vouch for you?

rosa1.jpg
I'm not sure. I mean, I don't really know anybody here. Not all of us are social butterflies.

jim.jpg
Okay, whatever. How about Nishanti Sharma? She could vouch for you.

rosa1.jpg
Sorry, who is Niss... Nish...?

jim.jpg
She lives in 4F. Y'know, right NEXT DOOR to 4E? You don't really get out much, do you?

rosa3.jpg
Sorry, too busy browsing RPG Codex. Your point?

jim.jpg
Nothing. But I'm sure she could vouch for you. But she's not here.

rosa1.jpg
Of course she isn't... So I gotta wait here all day for her?

jim.jpg
you might have to. Although she usually goes to Washington Square Park in the mornings. You could look for her there.

legacy0118.jpg

Time to use some of the lessons we took from Rabbi Serious...

rosa3.jpg
Get out of my way, I'm going in.

jim.jpg
I wouldn't do that.

rosa3.jpg
Why, are you going to stop me?

jim.jpg
Me? No. But I've got a cell phone in my pocket with 911 programmed in. All I have to do is hit 'send' and the cops will be here in 5 minutes.

This makes no sense. I mean, and what then? We enter our flat, the cops arrive and he says 'I tried to stop a legit citizen from entering her own friggin apartment'?

legacy0128.jpg

I don't want to talk to his faggot anymore. Let's get to the Washing Square and look for that... Nishanti woman.

legacy0132.jpg

legacy0133.jpg

rosa1.jpg
It's been a while since I've been here. Still looks the same, I guess. Although the dogpark is empty. I wonder why.

The sign on the gate just says 'closed until further notice', so we go to the left to leave to another area...

when suddenly.

legacy0140.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Now I'm getting a stress headache. I need to get home.

legacy0143.jpg

legacy0144.jpg

Woo, a dog. A closer inspection reveals he's on an extendable leash. He also keeps following us around.

legacy0145.jpg

rosa1.jpg
I recognize her from my building. Nishanti... Sharma, was it? This is going to be awkward.

legacy0149.jpg

legacy0150.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Uh... excuse... No, I can't do it.

legacy0172.jpg

Well then, let's cause some ruckus. We don't have a gas grenade or a flashbang to make the crowd run away, so we'll have to improvise.

The dog keeps following us around. There was also a neat lantern to the left.

legacy0173.jpg

Stupid animal. It never expected the clever trap :smug:

legacy0175.jpg

Wyrmlord, that you?

legacy0177.jpg

nisha.jpg
I can't take you anywhere, can I? Oh, it's you! The lady next door.

rosa1.jpg
Yeah, hi.

nisha.jpg
Rhonda, isn't it?

rosa1.jpg
No, Rosangela.

nisha.jpg
Well then, Rosangela. I hope my friend here hasn't been giving you any trouble.

legacy0186.jpg

Well, let's be polite. We all know what happened when we weren't polite to mrs Lauder in Shivah.

rosa1.jpg
That's a... cute dog you've got.

legacy0188.jpg

Congrats, Rosa. Now your smile will haunt her dreams forevermore.

nisha.jpg
Isn't he just! Normally he behaves, but he seems to have taken a shine on you. Anyway, I don't think we've formally met. I'm Nishanti.

rosa1.jpg
Rosangela.

nisha.jpg
So you said.

rosa1.jpg
Oh, right. Um... I have a... strange favour to ask. You know that building servicemen's strike?

nisha.jpg
Yes, Jim Burdo is covering, isn't he?

rosa5.jpg
Yeah, that's the problem. See, he doesn't recognize me.

nisha.jpg
Oh, so you need me to vouch for you?

rosa1.jpg
Yeah, I know this is pretty stupid.

nisha.jpg
Oh, don't worry about it. Moti is getting a little cranky anyway. Let's get you home.

legacy0213.jpg

On the way back...

legacy0214.jpg

Another headache!

Ominous!

legacy0219.jpg

legacy0220.jpg

jim.jpg
Hey, miss Sharma.

nisha.jpg
Jim, this is Rosangela, she lives here.

jim.jpg
She does? Okay, sorry about earlier. Had to be sure.

legacy0225.jpg

rosa3.jpg
Well, now you're sure. And you must be SO proud of yourself. Just get out of my way.

You tell him, girl.

legacy0230.jpg

nisha.jpg
Well, here we are. Feel free to drop in anytime you want.

legacy0241.jpg

rosa1.jpg
I'll think about it.

nisha.jpg
No thinking needed. I know we New Yorkers don't normally talk to our neighbours, but who cares? The city can be a lonely place, especially when you're alone. I've got Moti, who do you have?

Watch out, Wyrmlord is trying to fill in his Rosa.txt

legacy0247.jpg

So we better just stay silent.

nisha.jpg
Oh look, now I've offended you. That's what I get for butting in. I'm sure you're fine, although your episode in the park tells me otherwise. And your eyes... well, let's just say the offer stands. We'll see eachother soon, Rosangela. I'm sure.

Eyes? Huh?

legacy0258.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Um, you can call me Rosa, if you like. Rosangela is kind of a mouthful, y'know?

nisha.jpg
Alright, Rosa. You have a good day, now.

rosa1.jpg
What a strange lady.

legacy0266.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Home, thank God. I've never been so happy to see a 500 square foot room in my life.

When suddenly...

legacy0269.jpg

The phone rang.

legacy0271.jpg

This is Dr Quentin, from Bellevue Hospital. I was your aunt's primary care physician. Did you recieve my letter?

rosa1.jpg
Yes, I recieved it.

I did?

rosa1.jpg
I haven't had the time to come by, though.

That's all right, I'm sure you're busy. However, should you find the time today, my entire schedule is free.

rosa1.jpg
I... sure, I'll keep that in mind.

Thank you, good day.

rosa1.jpg
If I don't visit him, he's just going to keep bothering me. I suppose I should get it over with.

Well then, let's check the letter.

legacy0284.jpg

It's conveniently placed in our inventory, yay.

legacy0285.jpg

Right.

This is it for now. Next update, we'll check up with the doctor and DISCUSS!!! whatever he wants. Maybe there's finally gonna be some, I dunno, plot exposure or something.

Great, more adventure lps, at least this one for now seems to work UNLIKE another certain one *cough*. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that this lady will be as extreme as Rabbi Stone, a shame.

Ah, fuck it. I didn't even play it too long today, and I shot a thousand screenshots, which would be good for more than 3 updates, and I've actually wanted enough material for 2. It's just too massive on dialogue to LP. Maybe I'll return to it later in the future, but I doubt it.

Anyway, not much harm done, I guess, since the audience seemed... superbroad

you want like moar MOAR?

Nah, I'm serious. After like two hours of playing I have as many screenshots in the 'blackwell LP' folder as in the whole 'Shivah LP' one.

Cancelled?

I don't know if I'm supposed to yell at you or not. I'm so confused. This has to be a record.

Awright, last time we left Rosa Blackwell, she decided to pay a visit to the Bellevue psychiatric hospital where her aunt was being treated.

But first let's take a look on the photograph on the TV in her apartment:

legacy0289.jpg

legacy0290.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Auntie Lauren... She took care of me after my parents died. For most of my life, auntie was a vegetable, slowly rotting away in a hospital bed. I don't remember what she was like before that, this picture is all I have to go by. I look scared out of my mind, I don't remember when this picture was taken, but I look about four or five years old.

legacy0299.jpg

So we leave the flat. And while we're at it, let's check up on Nishanti.

legacy0300.jpg

legacy0303.jpg

legacy0306.jpg

legacy0307.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Hi, um... dog?

nisha.jpg
His name is Moti.

rosa1.jpg
Right, Moti. See ya.

After this fruitful conversation, the dawg walks over to Nishanti and starts barking.

legacy0312.jpg

legacy0313.jpg

The thing she's holding is a dog biscuit.

legacy0314.jpg

legacy0315.jpg

I'm sure this will be significant later on.

legacy0317.jpg

rosa1.jpg
This is, uh, a lovely place.

nisha.jpg
Thank you. Not the biggest place, but enough for Moti and me.

legacy0321.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Thanks again for helping me out earlier. I'd probably be sleeping in a hotel tonight if it weren't for you.

nisha.jpg
The strike's over. It lasted only a few hours according to a report on the radio.

rosa3.jpg
Really? I suppose that's irony.

durr

legacy0331.jpg

rosa1.jpg
So, you play the flute, huh?

nisha.jpg
Yes, it's called a bansuri. It was my grandmother's, she taught me how to play it when I was young. I owned it all my life, but I never started playing it until recently. I wish I started when I was younger. Still, better late than never, eh? What about you? Do you play an instrument?

rosa1.jpg
Me? No, I can hardly play the kazoo.

nisha.jpg
Let's see, you strike me as being creatively inclined. Are you a painter? A writer?

rosa1.jpg
Well, I'm TRYING to be a writer

CHARACTER BACKGROUND INFO!!!111

nisha.jpg
I knew it! Anything published?

rosa1.jpg
Not really, aside from book reviews in the Village Eye.

The other conversation topics are pretty much unimportant, except one:

legacy0387.jpg

nisha.jpg
It's a place to go, I suppose. It gets me out of the stuffy apartment, and I admit I like the attention. Plus, Moti loves the dog run there. Well, he did until they closed it down.

legacy0395.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Why did they close down the dog run? It seemed OK to me.

nisha.jpg
Nobody really knows. It started about a week ago. Dogs started howling, running around like maniacs, acting strange. Some even hurled themselves at the fence door, trying to get out.

Ominous!

nisha.jpg
They SAY it's some kind of high frequency wave that's caused by electric cables, or something. Some high pitched sound that the dogs can hear, but we can't. But I know better.

rosa5.jpg
You... know better?

nisha.jpg
Definitely. I notice these things. Something... in the air. It's not a high pitched noise. That would only cause a dog pain. This was more than pain. The dogs were... scared.

rosa1.jpg
What was there to be scared of?

nisha.jpg
I have no idea. But I know what I sensed... just like you did.

rosa1.jpg
Me?

nisha.jpg
You sensed it, don't think I didn't notice.

rosa1.jpg
I didn't sense anything.

nisha.jpg
Perhaps... Maybe I'm just spouting nonsense.

legacy0420.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Could I try feeding the dog?

nisha.jpg
Sure! Here, take one, I have plenty. Go ahead and feed him, he's always hungry.

legacy0429.jpg

legacy0430.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Uh... what do I do now?

nisha.jpg
Just say 'go get it'. He'll do the rest.

rosa1.jpg
Go get it!

And get it he did. So we take another biscuit, because having biscuits lying around in our pockets is the shit, and leave for the hospital.

legacy0437.jpg

legacy0438.jpg

When we enter, the lights start flickering. Ominous!

legacy0440.jpg

legacy0441.jpg

legacy0442.jpg

legacy0443.jpg

guard.jpg
Is he expecting you?

rosa1.jpg
I've got this letter right here.

guard.jpg
Ok, looks legit, go right in. His name's on the door, you can't miss it.

legacy0452.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Doctor Quentin?

doc.jpg
Yes?

That guy is Rabbi Stone. Damn, what a non-extreme role. How the mighty have fallen :(

rosa1.jpg
I'm Rosangela Blackwell.

doc.jpg
Oh hello, come in, come in.

legacy0457.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Yes, I did.

doc.jpg
Good. My condolences on the loss of your mother.

legacy0461.jpg

rosa3.jpg
You mean my aunt...

doc.jpg
Ah, quite right, quite right.

rosa3.jpg
So you wanted to talk to me about something?

doc.jpg
Yes... yes, I did. But before we into that, how are you holding up?

legacy0467.jpg

Better not say too much. After all, he's a... psychiatrist! One can never trust these :higher game:

rosa3.jpg
I'm fine... why?

doc.jpg
Oh, no reason. Just asking questions. Goes with the job. You received the ashes?

rosa1.jpg
Yes, I scattered them this morning.

doc.jpg
I imagine you must miss her.

legacy0475.jpg

Rosa is too x-treme for such pitiful sentiments.

rosa1.jpg
Not really.

doc.jpg
Oh?

rosa1.jpg
Nothing's really changed. Her body might have been alive, but her mind certainly wasn't.

doc.jpg
That's a pretty... severe attitude, wouldn't you say?

rosa3.jpg
Maybe.

doc.jpg
But if she weren't 'alive', as you say... why did you make it a point of visiting her all those years?

legacy0484.jpg

Fuck off, Wyrmlord II

rosa3.jpg
I don't see why it's any business of yours.

doc.jpg
It's all right. Forget I asked.

rosa3.jpg
I wanted to come - I came :)smug:). That's all.

doc.jpg
And now that you don't have to?

rosa3.jpg
What do you want me to say? Auntie's dead, life goes on.

doc.jpg
So you'll just keep living, is that it? Keep writing your little book reviews in the paper, right?

rosa3.jpg
... you know about those?

doc.jpg
It's hardly a secret. A number of the staff have read them, yes.

rosa1.jpg
I didn't think a West Village paper would interest someone up here.

doc.jpg
I have to be honest, Miss Blackwell. They stuff read them because they were more interested in YOU.

God, this game is FULL of Wyrmlords

legacy0501.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Oh?

doc.jpg
Their intentions were purely benign, I assure you. It was your aunt they were primarly interested in. They wanted to know more about the family, and you proved to be... shall we say, less than eager to comply?

rosa3.jpg
That's their problem.

doc.jpg
Indeed. It was your choice to make. Your aunt was an... interesting case. And now that she's gone, I was hoping you'd be more forthcoming with me. Just an informal chat. We can DISCUSS!!!! her condition. And yours too, of course.

'yours'? Huh?

legacy0512.jpg

rosa2.jpg
You could never find out what was wrong with her, huh?

doc.jpg
No, we didn't. But she still remains a fascinating case.

rosa2.jpg
Fascinating? I don't understand.

doc.jpg
Forgive me, I speak from a purely professional perspective. I didn't know your aunt personally.

rosa2.jpg
Neither did I. But... Fascinating?

doc.jpg
It might come as a surprise, but yes.

rosa2.jpg
But she was practically catatonic. All she did was lie there for twenty years. She'd sometimes twitch or mumble something incoherent, but I wouldn't call that fascinating.

doc.jpg
Well, as you know, she wasn't exactly catatonic. We kept her sedated.

rosa2.jpg
Right... she had outbursts.

doc.jpg
Yes, and we had to sedate her heavily to keep her calm. Especially in preparation for your visits.

rosa1.jpg
What are you trying to say?

doc.jpg
Miss Blackwell, we're not a nursing home. We're not merely content to keep a patient comfortable. We are, after all, in the healing profession. We were trying to heal your aunt, and for that we had to speak to her.

rosa1.jpg
Wait, you spoke to auntie? Did she answer back?

doc.jpg
After a fashion, yes.

legacy0539.jpg

rosa1.jpg
If auntie spoke, why wasn't I told?

doc.jpg
Miss Blackwell, do you remember what brought your aunt here in the first place? Her screaming? Her hitting herself?

Woohoo, we have a nutjob aunt!

rosa1.jpg
I... I was only five years old at the time. But I kind of remember.

doc.jpg
In order to prevent her from doing harm to herself or to others, we were forced to sedate her. When we limited her medication, she simply reverted to her former state. Her natural state, I'm sorry to add.

rosa1.jpg
What did auntie say?

doc.jpg
Nothing that made sense. But one thing was clear - she was in great pain.

rosa1.jpg
Pain? What kind of pain?

doc.jpg
It's difficult to say. But it was... immense. When we reduced her medication, the transformation was dramatic. Her eyes flew open, she thrashed (She listened to Slayer?), her screams, well... We had to gag her, eventually.

rosa1.jpg
My God...

doc.jpg
I know.

rosa1.jpg
Did she still feel it when she was sedated?

doc.jpg
We don't know. But there's no way of knowing.

rosa1.jpg
Twenty five years... poor auntie.

legacy0565.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Wait, what do you mean by 'my condition'?

doc.jpg
Hereditary dementia is my specialty, Miss Blackwell. And in my opinion, there's a significant cause for concern.

uh-oh.

rosa1.jpg
Sorry, did you say 'hereditary'?

doc.jpg
Yes, two generations. Your aunt, and your grandmother before her.

rosa1.jpg
My grandmother?

doc.jpg
Yes, Patricia I think her name was, right?

rosa5.jpg
I... don't know.

rosa1.jpg
I never knew my grandmother.

rosa3.jpg
Auntie Lauren was it, there was nobody else. She couldn't exactly provide me with a family history.

doc.jpg
Oh, I see. I had no idea.

rosa3.jpg
Well, maybe you SHOULD have. Did anyone else come to visit her besides me?

doc.jpg
No, you are correct. I should have read the family history more carefully. I do apologise, I just assumed... well, nevermind. It doesn't change the fact that you should be concerned as well. Patricia Blackwell suffered her mental collapse at the age of fifty five. Lauren Blackwell underwent hers at the age of forty.

rosa3.jpg
What are you saying? That the same thing is going to happen to me?

doc.jpg
No. I'm saying that there's a significant cause for concern.

legacy0593.jpg

rosa1.jpg
[intelligence] So I had a grandmother

doc.jpg
[perception] Apparently so.

rosa1.jpg
how do you know about her?

doc.jpg
It was in your aunt's case history when she was brought to us. Patricia Blackwell's symptoms were the same. Word for word. Patricia's case was severe, and she was young, but it was chalked up to being an ordinary case of dementia... until...

rosa1.jpg
Until it struck her daughter.

doc.jpg
Yes.

rosa1.jpg
It seems impossible.

doc.jpg
Perhaps it's genetic, but we've detected no abnormality.

legacy0605.jpg

rosa1.jpg
So what should I do?

doc.jpg
Right now? Nothing. This type of thing is unprecedented. There is no procedure to go through, nor medication I could give you. I just want you to be aware, that's all. And come to me if... well, there's any concern.

legacy0612.jpg

rosa1.jpg
You couldn't find any other link between the two cases?

doc.jpg
None, aside from the family connection. And... a name. The documentation we had on your grandmother is minimal, but there was one interesting item noted. During her more lucid moments, she uttered the name 'Joey'. Your aunt too, would cry that name on occasion.

rosa1.jpg
Joey? Who is Joey?

doc.jpg
We've been wondering the same thing for twenty five years.

legacy0624.jpg

rosa1.jpg
Is there anything else you need to tell me before I go?

doc.jpg
Your aunt had some personal effects in storage. As the next-of-kin, you're the beneficiary. It's just a folder, some documents and so on. It's being sent to you via messenger.

rosa1.jpg
Oh, well, thanks for that.

doc.jpg
It's no problem at all. Good bye, miss Blackwell. My schedule is fairly open now, so feel free to drop in anytime. I'm always happy to DISCUSS!!!! my favourite patient.

rosa1.jpg
Sure.

legacy0634.jpg

Zomg, that was a seriously long conversation. But at least there finally was some background on... well, ANYTHING.

legacy0635.jpg

Let's bug the guard some more.

legacy0649.jpg

rosa1.jpg
What's with the lights?

guard.jpg
Hey, old buildings, you know? Always got problems. If the plumbing ain't broken, the lights are on the blink. It's giving me a headache, let me tell you.

OMINOUS!

rosa1.jpg
Thanks.

guard.jpg
Uh-huh.

Now, back to the apartment, and see if auntie's phat loot arrived already.

legacy0659.jpg

Meh, just some envelope at the doormat.

rosa1.jpg
Looks like it's from Bellevue.

The envelope contains a series of letters between auntie Lauren and various people (mainly her brother and mother), that give us even more BACKGROUND INFO!!!111

Well, seems that things changed for ol' Jack faster than he'd thought. Also, John Durkin?

Yeah, that reminds me of someone

Right then, so we finished reviewing family history. And the moment we did, the phone rang:

rosa1.jpg
Hello?

Rosangelina... Hi

Whoever this guy is, he has a ridiculous redneck accent.

rosa1.jpg
Hi Bob...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Thanks SO much for submitting your last review on time. For once.

rosa1.jpg
Yeah...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
I got a LITTLE assignment for you today.

rosa1.jpg
Assignment? I just review books, Bob.

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Well, today you're not. Human interest, Blackwell. And it's RIGHT in your neighbourhood.

rosa1.jpg
Human interest?

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Yup. College girl. Suicide. Some girl named... JoAnn.

rosa1.jpg
That's...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
You know the Britany House? The NYU dorm?

rosa1.jpg
Yes, but...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Great, head over to the dorm and get a few statements.

rosa1.jpg
But...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Speak to some people on her floor. Get a word in with the roommate.

rosa1.jpg
Listen...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Speak to the R.A., too. And hey, if you score a picture of the girl, that would be a real coup.

rosa1.jpg
But I don't do that stuff!

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Like I said, today you ARE. Jared's over at city hall covering that strike. So you're it.

rosa1.jpg
Today is not the best...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
Not hearing you. Write it up for tomorrow's edition. Pressures of college life, etc. It practically writes itself.

rosa1.jpg
Wait...

NPC_6041_m_RannosDavi.jpg
I'm SO looking forward to reading it, Blackwell. Ciao!

rosa3.jpg
I hate him SO MUCH. Is freelancing for that stupid paper even worth it? I guess it keeps me writing but...

rosa5.jpg
Oh, whatever. I'll just go there and get it done. It's not like I don't have enough death in my life right now.

And that's everything for today. Jolly jee jeepers, that was a long update.

Next time we'll be investing that dorm suicide. Things will also get a lot more... OMINOUS!!!!!!111111

Niiice.

I have a feeling Shivah was better though. Blackwell seems a bit too conventional compared to extreme rabbinical word fights.

Yeah, it looks like that so far, but it gets less generic later on. I've also just finished the second part (Blackwell: Unbound), and it's significantly better than Legacy.

compared to extreme rabbinical word fights.

But it will also feature collar grabbing! I promise :D

As the protagonist is a female, there's the obvious question: The game is mature enough to feature rape?

Just kidding, continue it.

A very nice LP, hoping for more soon!

A question though, is the game as rich on "This was a bad decision" sort of moments as The Rabbi Stone adventure was, i.e use the wrong style of addressing and you might end up with a nice game over prematurely?

I didn't notice any in all three games, unfortunately. There are also some instances where it looks like it's possible to die (in parts 2 and 3), but I'm not quite sure whether it really is possible or is it just fake suspense.

We shall investigate that when we get to these moments.
