Battle for Esturia is an upcoming open world turn-based strategy RPG with an early 1980s aesthetic, full party creation and a combat system inspired by SRPGs such as Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. Originally known as Legends of Teramore, the game has been in development since 2017 and developer nlfortier feels now it's ready for an Early Access release of sorts. Not on Steam, but as a free download on Itch.io. There's no trailer for this release, but this animated GIF should give you an idea of what we're talking about.
Battle for Esturia is a turn-based strategy RPG featuring an open world filled with monsters, dungeons, and interesting characters. The game takes its inspiration from classic CRPGs like Ultima and Baldurs Gate, but features an engaging battle system inspired by the likes of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics.
You control the fate of your party as they journey across a dangerous land filled with traps and monsters in an attempt to retake the throne from an undead king. You will be faced with many difficult choices along the way and your actions will determine the challenges you face, the battles you fight, and the destiny of your people.
