Blade & Sword thumbs up at AVault

AVault has posted a pretty positive review of Blade & Sword, giving it fairly high marks in nearly every area except sound.

One of the many things that made Diablo a legend was its intuitive ease of play. With two exceptions, the same thing can be said of Blade & Sword. It’s one thing to attempt to rehash another game’s success; it’s quite another to do it with enough moxie to recapture the magic. Dear reader, believe me - this title absolutely recaptures the magic of Diablo. Even while shaking my head at the blatant formulas set forth by Blizzard, I couldn’t stop clicking. (I have a very passive aggressive mouse that’s still not speaking to me after the punishment of playing Blade & Sword.) Each new creature brings with it an, "Ouch, what’s that?" and a click of the old journal to read up on it. What’s more, a palpable sense of history provides the entire affair with a certain pedigree of class.

That's a pretty high recommendation there.

Thanks, James!
