Taldren, the company that made the Star Trek: Starfleet Command games and was working on an RPG project called "Black 9" is going bankrupt. Here's a quote from an <a target=_blank href=http://pc.ign.com/articles/527/527127p1.html>IGN article[/url]:

• Former Taldren CEO Erik Bethke today confirmed what we'd already suspected: Taldren, Inc. has indeed closed its doors. The developer was best known for its work on several of the Star Trek: Starfleet Command titles, as well as its stillborn Black 9 project.
  
  Bethke also confirmed that he and formal Taldren art director Nate Simpson have traveled to Korea where they and a team of about 20 Korean developers are at work on two new online titles.
  
  According to Bethke, Black 9 is not canceled so much as on hold, though publisher Majesco is currently reporting the game as canceled.
