Montreal, Canada. November 23, 2005 - Software publisher, Meridian4 and developer, Rebelmind are excited to announce the official release of the North American demo of their Sci-Fi Action/RPG – Space Hack, which is now available in most retail stores in the US and Canada.
About the Demo
The single-player demo plays out the first three levels of the game introducing you to the world of Space Hack.
After receiving your orders from base commander regarding your ultimate goal to eliminate the alien hordes and to save the remaining colonists, you are off on your first mission. In the industrial part of Biosphere A there’s an entrance to the underground complex. The base commander has received signals that there are still people alive down there. The aliens have people trapped and are using them as food for their larvas. Find the short distance teleport in the industrial part of the biosphere. It will take you to the hidden rooms within the rocks. Go in there and save whoever you can.
Good luck…
Space Hack is now available for purchase in most retail outlets at a suggested retail price of $19.99. It is rated Teen by the ESRB. For more information on the game or to download the demo or trial version, go to www.meridian4.com.
About Space Hack
Space Hack is a sci-fi Action/RPG title with Diablo-inspired gameplay mechanics, presented in real-time 3D graphics. The story puts gamers on a colony transport ship that suddenly gets trapped inside a Black Nebula, but that’s only their first problem. While trapped, they get boarded by aliens that take over the ship and begin to kill and eat the colonists.
Playing the role of a tough, gristled ex-military man, gamers will struggle to reach an emergency transport module at the far end of the ship to free the remaining colonists, hacking and slashing their way through hordes of alien creatures along the way.
80 hours of gameplay for $20 isn't a bad deal. I remember thinking the first demo that was released was better than I was expecting.
