Mario sends word that he's released update 1.3 to his rogue-like. In this edition:

This version introduces new dungeon features, thiefs can finally steal, damage calculations and thus balancing have changed and some major bugs (like unsolvable quests) have been fixed.

This version also introduces some features which make the gameplay more interesting, although most things are known from other roguelikes:

* find your way through dark rooms where nothing is visible
* beware of spider webs which entrap you as well as monsters
* search for hidden doors
* sit down on stools to regain PP
* use bookshelves to study and train your skills when no academy is in sight
* destroy barrels to reveal items
* if you're a thief, steal money from NPCs or items from traders​
At least it's not an FPS {Exploding barrel cliche reference}. Be sure to check out the screenshots too and rejoice at the lack of ASCII. All I have to do now is figure out how to get out of the spiderweb...
