Indie Archaelund: RPG that combines 1st-person exploration with 3rd-person TB combat - now available on Early Access

Lore-wise, makes little sense for the setting to simply remove the restriction. The premise is that 99% of human population was devastated, and only an island colony survived. That colony (isle of Varannar) had no original human inhabitants, and is already very detailed in Exiled Kingdoms. But...

Indie Archaelund: RPG that combines 1st-person exploration with 3rd-person TB combat - now available on Early Access

Hello Codex. There has been another update recently, 0.7.9. And I'm working around the clock to have 0.8 out in April as I had planned, but it might very well slip into May, I am afraid. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1082970/view/7057778465256955863

    Revisiting VtM: Bloodlines

I really don't understand what's wrong with the original graphics. They are good enough to provide the immersion sought. Any visual mod would probably distract me, trying to spot what is original and what isn't. As for the unofficial patch, that's different. I tried to play vanilla last time...

    Game News Unforetold: Witchstone cancelled

I'm sorry for the devs, there were some interesting ideas in there. I remember thinking "they can't afford to pay Greenwood and have 60 reviews in the first month, can they?". Also I suspected the game had weak technical foundations that would eventually collapse, when I read a thread about...

Incline Dune, best boardgame ever, reprinted by GF9

Sad but true. Game length is truly a barrier for many. This is a common problem for many great tabletop games.

Gold Box SSI's Gold Box Series Thread

It's important to remember the SSI team was not free to make up their own rules, spells or classes, they were constricted by a rulesystem designed for something entirely different: tabletop gaming. Even the price items in the shop match those in the Player's Handbook! This was a huge limitation...

Gold Box SSI's Gold Box Series Thread

But in PoR there's an easy trick to get cash early (poor Theurgist, such a nice guy!) . In Savage Frontier I don't think so, although I don't know the game as much.

Indie Archaelund: RPG that combines 1st-person exploration with 3rd-person TB combat - now available on Early Access

Agreed. That's the idea. :smug: Folks, won't be visiting the codex much these weeks, just too many forums, emails, etc. currently buzzing around my head, while I try to be focused on releasing updates. But eventually will read everything posted here.

LOL, I should really take new ones instead of keeping the alpha screenshots. That bug with critical hits was fixed like... a year ago. The typo in the dialogue is still there, funny.

I will listen to everyone, and give consideration to good ideas, but I won't try to make everyone happy.
