Shadowrun Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition

If you get Cyberware Affinity 6 your cyberware attributes and skills will suddenly count in the karma screen, except for getting extra etiquettes from a Charisma bonus.

    Raider Sadist Armor? Seriously?

I read that it was a radroach, and that it was in the beginning of the game, so I figured that it may have been during a tutorial or something. Anyway, it wasn't 'recommended', thus the two don't 'mix'.

    Raider Sadist Armor? Seriously?

I disagree. I think that it'd be more fun to have an incentive to use weapons that can be easily repaired, while saving the rare and powerful ones for special occasions. It's the reason I switch to whatever weapon my opponents are using in the two latest FPS:es I played - always better to be...

    Indie Developer Conducts Piracy Poll

Well, excuse me for wanting to use an analogy with some basis in real life, instead of going with some kind of fancy make-believe stuff that makes it completely pointless to use an analogy in the first place. Let's wait for the singularity before we go around and beam our memories straight into...

    Indie Developer Conducts Piracy Poll

That is not the "property" though, that's just what they've done with it. The property is all the games and the setting and the name and so on. It's not so much the data itself as the recognised legal rights that come with owning it. The only way to 'steal' that would be to somehow remove those...

    Indie Developer Conducts Piracy Poll

I wish I could steal the Fallout property from Bethesda. But I can't. According to you though, not only would I be able to do so, but there would (most likely) also be no consequences! I equate software piracy with sneaking in to see a show for free, or even more appropriate; watching...

    Fucking shit

Yup. The more you show, the better it has to look. That's one of the reasons I wear clothes when people can see me.

Game News Age of Decadence porn

Yeah. To me it's a toss-up between realism and clarity. But of course it would be nice if one could have both. And different idle animations seems to be the easiest way to achieve that if you want to avoid making the women look like Barbiedolls with male skeletons.

    Indie Developer Conducts Piracy Poll

I just got the image of a store in my head. A store where the front doors are locked while the back door is not only unlocked, but also unguarded. And every customer is supposed to unlock the front doors every time they want to make a purchase. Yeah, that sounds real smart to me. (No, it's...

    Making games simpler

I never played it. How well did the unfettered Radiant AI handle the game? Did a lot of NPCs exhibit truly insane behaviour? Such as starving to death because there are no forks to be found? I think I heard something like that. If I'm going to play a singleplayer game with the computer...

Looking for associate(s) to develop an indie rpg game

It certainly reads better than the first post, but anyone who Mojo would work with would have to read what Mojo writes, not the polished rewrite that some idiot requires in order to grasp simple concepts such as what deal Mojo used to have. (Not that I'm accusing any of the idiots in this thread...

    Making games simpler

I like simplicity, if only so that the game's AI can understand what the hell the PC is doing, and respond in an appropriate manner. Complexity could then be built together by the player and the computer playing games with each other.

Looking for associate(s) to develop an indie rpg game

Sounds like an awesome game to me, and the character art was right up my alley. I hope you find someone to work with you.

    Unofficial Arcanum Patch (Original Thread)

Indeed there is, and there's pretty much nothing to do about it apart from rewriting things. Doesn't matter a whole lot though, since Sebastian isn't a merchant, but I guess that if the PC is an archer or shoots other missiles that might hit Sebastian, it might be beneficial to abuse the loop to...

    Place restriction in RPGs

Didn't that zeppelin lift off from Caladon or Roseborough? Given that it was headed for Tarant and passing over the mountains near Shrouded Hills, that's the only thing that makes sense. Maybe it's even mentioned somewhere? And if that is the case, Caladon should probably have been marked on the...
