Opera Browser thinks RPG codex is Dangerous

Opera stopped existing after 12.18, enjoy your chink botnet.

Experience and character skill progression is pointless.

My main gripe is that when playing on the high difficulties, it is always a dreadsome hell early but nearing the late game you just start facerolling everything without a care. The difficulty should be a slope with reasonable spikes for boss fights and key areas.

Why has development cycle grown so much and games are worse then ever?

The concept of fun is no longer considered relevant to the development, so combat, equipment and character building end up being one-dimensional, purely numerical and tiresome. Little fun things such as exploration, "hidden" stuff, easter eggs, etc, are not implemented and the developers might...

Eternity Graze is a terrible mechanic

I agree, it's about time the ruminants switched to meat.

Pathfinder Pathfinder: Kingmaker Builds and Strats Thread

Is this actually playable without driving you to suicide from bad writing, poor combat and tedium, like PoE?

How the fuck can we solve the crafting OCD shit in RPGs

Maybe some sort of decay system for consumable items and the materials those are made with. They would lose effectiveness with time and eventually turn into mush. Though that's ultimately pointless if the game doesn't require you to use such items.

Warcraft III: Reforged - now with lowest user metacritic score of all time

Can't wait for the trash that is dota to kill this just like it killed the original game.

What was your most disapointing RPG

Beyond Divinity, the prequel was simple yet pretty fun thanks to the potato humor. This game used retarded engine and mechanics which made it unplayable. NWN2: MotB, too much fuss and hype for an overly edgy story with shit combat due to all the power creep of epic levels. I did finish it but...
