Japan is interesting, as each single minor state has its own set of national ideas.
I am currently ruling the waves as Kono.
Atztecs are going to be tough. Although i have actually seen the Mayas(one of their tribes) survive in my Papal-state game, so it seems to be possible.

It mostly depends on what you think would be the most fun/enlightening. I would personally like to see one of the Japanese factions because I have never made it far enough as one to see what MMU adds to the experience. (Like the Sikhism events in this LP). I don't imagine that the Aztecs & co. would have much flavor other than having a musket violently shoved up their asses.

Faggot Bro, I'm getting some weird glitches in my Magna Mundi ultimate 1.26. Around 1480, Lubeck and Genoa are having their trade leagues cancelled.
Around 1490 as portugal, my CoT is being destroyed automatically...
Basically everything is going to piss and I can't explain why. I haven't changed my version and this is insane.
It's also causing some weird issues in other areas, like personal unions not triggering. just random fucked up shit.

Try a different version? Reinstall? CoTs can automatically disappear if they dip below a certain value, but that shouldn't happen with Lisboa. Not really sure what the problem is with those Trade Leagues. It could be you fucked up when installing the beta patch, I've had similar problems due to that.

In options, I set advisors and leaders to "historical". Apparently this causes certain anonamlous bugs around the same time in the game no matter what nation you play.
Timbuktu and Lisboa lost their CoTs but Morocco built 2 in Figuig and Marrakech around the same year, and then both were retired just after. So basically it's a weird settings bug.
I changed options back to normal and things don't seem to be fucked up, I've just hit 1550 and have not had the same weird shit happening.
