The game has just been released on Desura! :)

It costs $10. If you plan on purchasing please use the link from the game's website as I get more money that way.

Incoming to GamersGate soon too.

Producing something that people are willing eager to pay money for by yourself in less than a year is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations and best of luck to you in finishing the game/selling a million copies.

Side rant - I would have just brofisted but I am not yet allowed to brofist in any of the :obviously: forums. Although I can brofist in GD if I were so inclined. Makes no sense. If I were prone to assinine brofisting behavior, wouldn't GD be where I'd be doing the most damage?

Shut up noob.
This is codex. Codex laws are not open to discussion or interpretation or sense.
:mhd:

On a side note, congrats and I shall be making my purchase soon, I am sure.

:bro:
Can ordinary debit card (Visa Electron) be used, like in those early kickstarters? Pricing is great (I know your work is worth more, but this is more affordable). :incline: Just now, do some PR and marketing and try to get attention of at least Codex news page, No mutants allowed and Gamebanshee, if not more.

Why? As I want to know where to buy it too. And I don't know much about online purchasing.

Because I have my games scattered across several digital services (Steam, GetGamesGo, GoG, Gamersgate) and I don't really want to add yet another one that I need to keep track of. I already have the Desura client, as I got my Xenonauts copy for it, but I don't like it and it's the only game I got there. I like Gamersgate because you don't have to install yet another piece of shit client to play your games (fuck Steam and fuck my 120+ games collection that I "own" on it).

Thanks, I'll wait for Gamersgate version then too. I don't want to have to install client shits on my computer too.

With Gamersgate you download a small program, that in turn downloads the installer for the game. Then you install the game and just delete that small file. Steam has a lot of conveniences, and I really like to chat with my bros in the CDS, and I like the "one single client to launch a fuckton of games", but it still is a piece of shit DRM crap.

GOG doesn't release alpha versions as far as I know, but hopefully it will release the final version.

Btw, Desura has a standalone installer as well so you don't have to use their client if you don't want to, just so you guys know. ;)

The game should be up on GamersGate very soon too.

GOG definitely has pre-orders. It would be awesome if you could go through it, same way as Primordia did.

Anyways, will get from Desura as soon as I get next paycheck ;)

I bought this just now, 10 dollars is very cheap and I made sure to use the link you provided since you deserve the money.

Thanks Styg!

Edit: I think i'm using the client. Anyone know where I can find the standalone thing?

Nice. Waiting for gamersgate. Cheap price, the alpha demo already entertained me for that much.

I cannot install Underrail because for some reason it requires about 1.5 gigs of space on C:

I don't have that much on C. But it absolutely requires that space on C for some reason, even though I want to install it on E. :(

Must be because Desura client is installed on C (I don't think you can choose). Just download the standalone installer and it will let you install anywhere.

How? Where? From Desura, after I pay?

Yes. Look on the right side of the game's page after you purchase, you'll see "Underrail Alpha EXE Installer". It works the same way as the demo installer did.

JarlFrank: Maybe is because it needs the 1.5GB on the C: drive because the installer needs to extract the compressed files to a temporal folder.

Yeah, this must be the case. Same thing happens to me, but the installer definately only installs to the target folder and the game takes around ~850 MBs.

Dunno if there's anything to do but clean up your C a bit, at least temporarily.

I finally supported you Styg. Can't wait to try it out. And can't wait for the complete, finished product. Keep up the good work! :incline:
