Two Worlds, the greatest RPG and mega-seller ever created, is delayed in order to infuse some more greatness and awesomeness into the award-winning game.

Topware Interactive will invest additional development time into the role playing game “Two Worlds”. The delay into the 4th quarter of this year will makes sure that the title will release in its full splendor.

Miroslaw Dymek, Technical Director of the Reality Pump development team: “’Two Worlds” is a milestone in our company’s history. We want to be sure that every gamer will have as much fun playing our game as we are having during its’ development. Therefore, the focus of our team will be to create a quality RPG game and not in making the previously mentioned September time frame.”

Managing Director James Seaman: “We wanted to be on the safe side and did not want to compromise the ground breaking potential of this great game. The last few weeks of development have opened up many new options regarding graphics and game play and we want to realize these in a time frame that is stress free”
God bless.

Those statements make it sound like they use the Chinese Restaurant Ordering System(TM) for releasing press statements. You know, the one that goes, "Choose one from Column A and two from Column B."

Well they had to delay the game didn't they. They've only just developed the technology to make the knight do kung-fu in bullet time

How come when big name games get delayed, they get delayed quarters at a time? Does it have anything to do with development, or is more about product positioning?

It's just corporate talk, it now gives them a 3 month window to release the game without having to specify... lets say November than have to announced another delay of a month.

Yes, I am sure the 120-hour working weeks are great fun! Let's hope we get as much fun playing it!

Seriously, someone should convert SCIgen to generate marketing speek. Or maybe they already have...

Is it just me or does anyone else see 'Typoware' instead of Topware?

And I think that late in the development of the game is the wrong time to suddenly discover "new options regarding graphics and game play"
