  1. Might and Magic The Might and Magic Discussion Thread

I found the balancing just like an afterthought in World of Xeen, since you can get a ton of early experience by doing early parts of Darkside that can trivialize the game. I also really missed the Corak's notes flavour lore from MM III: Isles of Terra, which Xeen completely lacks. The quest...
  2. Mobile Android cRPG and/or Tacticool Recommendations

You can get Morrowind running on Android with an app called OpenMicrowave and some technical tinkering. I myself use a DOS emulator called Magic Dosbox to play DOS games on my Android phone. You have to set up virtual controls which is a bit of a pain but once it's all set up it works quite...
  3. Might and Magic The Might and Magic Discussion Thread

There is still a way to play it through as far as I could tell (I played a bit with the DLC equipment). Check https://www.reddit.com/r/MightAndMagic/comments/odxu8f/might_and_magic_x_legacy_manual_code_fix_to_gain/ this thread out.
  4. Anime Fallout 4 - essential mods

I used a loading time accelerator mod, worked very well for decreasing load times. There's a couple on the nexus and they work by unlocking the FPS during load screens since Bethesda made the load times tied to the frame rate.
  5. Incline RPGs with time limits that are more than fail states

That's the Clive sidequest where he's hunting a criminal IIRC. I don't think you actually get anything really good from doing that either that I remember, but I could be wrong about that. I'm playing Might and Magic 7 atm, and there is a quest to rescue an Erathian spy from the Elves in the...
  6. Grimoire - full screen mode

Check out the IntegerScaler app, it's perfect for stuff like this. I used either this or the app Lossless Scaling on Steam (can't recall which) and it works fine. Lossless Scaling costs a few bucks though so maybe try IntegerScaler and see if that works for you...
  7. Ultima Ultima 5 Redux - isometric graphics remake

Honestly I think it looks kind of neat Well This Is . It seems like an interesting project to undertake as well. Have you ever tried or heard of the other Ultima V remake, Lazarus? https://www.u5lazarus.com/ If so, do you have any opinion on it? I missed the original and was thinking of...
  8. One Handed Games

Basically any adventure game; Gemini Rue, Heroine's Quest, Whispers of a Machine (newer one I'm just starting and it seems alright) are some I like.
  9. Ultima The Ultima Series Discussion Thread

Serpent Isle was my favourite I'd say, but I also felt it dropped off way too much in the second half. The first half has a lot of interesting NPCs and dialogue and the second has very little. Black Gate was better at that and it's pretty close between the two in terms of my preference. I...
  10. Random, minor, quests you found interesting?

Morrowind only has you kill 3 or 4, major incline right there.
  11. KickStarter The Wayward Realms - upcoming Daggerfall-like RPG from original Elder Scrolls developers - coming to Kickstarter in May

I like their idea, I'm just not sure who is going to give them money for that.
  12. L.A Noire for PC

To be honest I wish anyone would make an investigation, story-heavy game with some action like this. I can't think of any other game I've ever played that is very similar to L.A. Noire, and it's one of my favourites. If Rockstar would do it as a sequel or similar idea, that would be awesome as...
  13. Bard's Tale The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep - Director's Cut

Some pretty brutal stuff really. I was looking forward to some performance improvements mostly and I haven't seen it in the testing I did last night. It's still incredibly GPU heavy even with the downgraded or "different style" graphics and fiddling with the settings still does little to...
  14. Bard's Tale The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep - Director's Cut

I'm currently downloading this and looking forward to seeing the balance, performance, and stability changes. I don't care very much about the graphics changes, it's kind of funny that they downgraded them but I myself spent a long time fiddling with the graphics settings trying to get...
  15. L.A Noire for PC

I'm playing this game again, this time the Complete Edition which includes some additional DLC cases. It does become more difficult to read people, but you aren't always relying totally on simply reading them, if you pay close attention to the clues and dialogue beforehand you will often have...
