Editorial RPG Codex Report: A Codexian Visit to inXile Entertainment

But Obsidian have been really open in their interviews and when interacting with the community? Might be talking Feargus specifically, but I don't think applies to him either.

Editorial RPG Codex Report: A Codexian Visit to inXile Entertainment

Pretty great interview. For all the talk of Fargo being an oil snake salesman (justified I might add. Not communicating all the cuts to the backers when they were one month away from release is a fucking questionable move even if I were to believe it was just incompetence as they say...

    Incline Chris Avellone Appreciation Station

I don't know how this is still in question. From the Codex interview with Fenstermaker: Basically, Eric made an editing pass and wrote banter for it. Most of it is Avellone's.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

5M are out of the question at this point, but if they want to reach 4.75, they need a trailer, something that would get posted into the different videogame websites and spark interest on its communities outside those that have already backed. It shouldn't be that difficult, considering they've...

Codex Review RPG Codex Review: Torment: Tides of Numenera

??? Pillars has way bigger maps, no question. This is Copperlane: This is Circus Minor: This is Ondra's Gift: This is the Underbelly: Tyranny would be comparable in terms of map size, but Pillars? Absolutely not.

The White March expansion also tried to do it, although not at a 100% consistency rate. For example, the ogre matron caves have a room with traps that are signaled by cables. I believe Durlag's Battery also signal its traps with certain shapes on walls and floor.

Horizon Zero Dawn - open world action-RPG from Guerilla Games - now on PC

I'm closing to the endgame now (I think), and yeah, game is really fucking good, no question. I thought by the end I would end up bored with the open world, but they did a really good job of, while just making what every other open world does, really restrict the padding to only the essential...

Troy Baker? Are you talking about the PoE2 fig video? That's Matthew Mercer, the guy that voiced Edér and Aloth in the first game (voicing Edér again in the video).

Horizon Zero Dawn - open world action-RPG from Guerilla Games - now on PC

He's a pretty avid gamer. He worked on that abortion called F.3.A.R. , although to what extent I don't know (probably consultation so they could parade him while marketing the game) Anyway, I've been playing the game this past few days, and it's pretty, pretty good. The open world stuff has...

Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

About the intentions behind putting Firedorn as a tranny NPC for a bounty quest in the expansion? Specifically about the intentions that TheSentinel interpreted.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Well, if your interpretation of this nice gesture is a "fuck you, bigot", it stops being a nice gesture, doesn't it? It would be petty revenge for the least deserving of it.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Jesus Christ, dude... it was a nice gesture. Going from mere backer memorial to bounty npc without having to put money to earn it is a cool gesture no matter how you slice it.

Early game overs are in Tides, though. Maybe not in this freeform manner, but hey, you can still fuck it up.

Wait, not even some banter during combat from at least one companion like in Pillars?

Torment Torment: Tides of Numenera Thread

Divinity OS 2 should allow us to form a more accurate opinion on the matter. The original was the most successful RPG of the lot, its sales should be indicative of what the interest for this type of games going forward is, and like Pillars and the other RPGs, its completion rates are also very...
