Mitsoda apparently wasn't the best to work with. Avellone's contract expired long before that stuff with him happened. Like two or so years before. Mitsoda didn't approve anything he wrote.

That Fabien thing is totally in line with Dan Pinchbeck's other games. Everything from Dear Esther to Little Orpheus features some sort of voice-over narrative device. Dear Esther's "story" is only delivered through voice over that's triggered when you look at cave paintings. Everybody's Gone to...

Dying Light 2 has Banu Haqim DLC. And that shitty VR game that came out has you play as a Banu Haqim. They're probably in

I think there might be some old screenshots laying around somewhere. Someone might have them. The story is being written by an ex-Bioware Narrative QA tester or Lore Doctor as Tyrannicon put it, with a Hogwarts Legacy writer as a side kick plus contracted writing staff, one of which included a...

World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 - VTMB sequel from The Chinese Room - coming Fall 2024

Hardsuit Labs had a weekly "How can we make this more like a Bloodlines" game which also at one point became "oh and also by the way so and so left but we got this new person." Not saying that what Hardsuit was making was going to be great or even good but an earnest attempt was made unlike what...

Yeah, they wrote it off. I'm gonna guess that the Tencent overlords that run Sumo Digital were the only ones willing to inject more funds into this game as opposed to everyone else they supposedly who talked to who probably said "If you want us to make a Cyberpunk rip-off, we want money upfront."

Does that mean Rik Schaffer's Bloodlines theme being inspired by Massive Attack was not from Troika but from Activision?

I never said this will result or even be likely that it will be a good game. Just that they can get it kicked out the door.

I think she did something for CD Projekt Red or GOG on The Witcher 3 but I think she got it because she was the only one who put out a palatable YouTube channel on World of Darkness that wasn't a total cringefest. Like applesauce. Relatively speaking.
