  1. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

I think the mode isn't that bad if the player sets out with the right kind of goal and expectation. For example, if you set the goal to reach map over 5 days, and end your run after finishing the campaign. Basically basing the power progression on the passive tree and ignore all the crafting...
  2. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

Yep you've predicted it ahead of time. So it seems that QoL isn't that hard to implement after all.
  3. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

Well the preceding 3 3% dodge nodes are (errrr....were) good too, and 30% spell dodge equates to 43% increase in EHP against spell hits. By comparison a 5% increase health node commonly gives less than 2% EHP increase. And those becomes even more valuable once you factor in other sources of...
  4. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

That must be a bait, no way you're serious.
  5. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

Hadn't done the math, but this seems pretty plausible to me. Since the main change were that less auras can be reserved by a single party member, it's seems trivial to simply split the auras between more members, and have each apply some kind of utility skill. With the dodge-reliant builds...
  6. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

If only there were anyone left who plays BV, bleed or slam.......
  7. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

This is a feature not a bug.
  8. Anime Dungeon Travelers series

I too have dabbled a few hours in DT1 on the PSP emulator, and it seems pretty decent. Though i feel the combat and turn-order system is on the simpler side, and far less chaotic as something like the Elminage series. If I'm not wrong Aweigh has plenty of good stuff to say about the game too...
  9. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

Hey, blowing up screens of mobs in fireworks is easily the best part of the game.
  10. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

The thing that you are not considering is that many HC deaths are not true one-shot. It is more common to die to a quick succession of 3+ large hits when you encounter a large pack. A relatively high HP pool + evasion is arguably better than getting as much HP as possible. The problem though is...
  11. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

Looking forward to the first actual gameplay change patch for a while, interesting to see what these means for build making. At the same time, nerfing player power level means to me that playing meta builds becomes so much more attractive. Let's say if DPS decrease 20% all across the board...
  12. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

Templar necro does work and in fact it's pretty close to the melee summoner playstyle that you seem to be looking for. You've got trolled man.
  13. Grand Strategy Imperator: Rome - the new grand strategy from Paradox

After the dumpster fire of the initial release and years of patch later, how how's the game right now? Is it good for 10 hours of fun? Or is it better to sit out for another 2 years
  14. Underrail: The Incline Awakens

I have just cleared Junkyard with a Psi Monk, the gameplay mainly involve some stealth/movement to isolate mobs and then spamming unarmed melee attacks. Could I expect the gameplay change or evolve as I get further, or is it more or less the same ?
  15. Will I enjoy Icewind Dale if the combat was my least favourite thing about Baldur's Gate?

Don't disagree with you, they are just different variant of the same combat system. For me however, the pacing, progression and atmosphere makes the gameplay much more enjoyable than BG.
