There are one or two mods but they're not strongly advertised because the devs are a bit autistic about people showing off the game in ways that were not intended. Hell Mode is the one I know of, it's supposed to make the story more combat focused, to quote: It's available on the modding...

Grenades are the answer to this mission, stormrats can't handle it and the gun will die pretty quick as he's only a human. Still going to get shot up a bunch though, and god forbid the gun actually fires. Definitely one of those missions you want to do in the daytime so you can tell what's going on.

Hurrah for disgusting power armor! Make sure the weirdgals have good bravery though, the suit zaps away their freshness pretty fast if they don't. Or even if they do, really. Good thing we got lots of ciggies

It's determined by if the enemy has hunter-killer behavior or not. If it's a craft with a radar circle it'll just charge you and the only way to keep it away is to micromanage the encounter.

According to the captive we researched the red guys are just golems and we've yet to find the real gods.(Meaning my previous heroic death was in fact mostly pointless :argh:)

They're all great. Damned Registrations should test them all in the field to determine the best one...

This LP has a dire lack of explosives. One of my favorite rocket launcher facts is that many pirates can remove an RPG from their backpack and take an aimed shot with it in a single turn. Think of the possibilities!

You already got vampire research from an interrogation I'm pretty sure. If you have a sickbay you can chop them up

Dio's going to release an update Soon™ which'll mess with the early game again so you might like to wait for that. And yeah play Peasant Revolution it'll be funny

Star Gods aren't so godly after all :smug:, not a bad way for an ogre to go The Shadowbat is not for us Green Codexers It was a good effort but the skilled pirates situation does seem pretty dire. If we restart pick Red Codex

Building more hangers/bases for interceptors would be a gud idea, especially since multiple interceptors can attack simultaneously.

While using a wounded space marine as a super-human shield is incredibly funny, it seems like the sort of thing that should be discouraged :M

You might want to check out that Worm craft in that case. Certain guns with high firerate only have a 50% chance to award xp on a hit which is why the Fatty girl got none.
