    Regarding any chance of Bethesda interfering with the Wasteland IP: Interplay did/does not have any ownership of Wasteland. Interplay developed it for EA and EA owned it, which is why we got Fallout when Interplay could not make a sequel to Wasteland. EA apparently let the trademark lapse...

    It's disheartening to see Bethesda slap the Fallout name on a game that has virtually no Fallout in it. I'm mystified why they would spend the money to acquire the IP when they clearly don't need it to make this game. It's almost as if they blew millions of dollars specifically to piss off...
