  1. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

Must have been patched. When I finished playing 1.3 or so, the only option was to complete the routine. I also knew from a previous stealth action who Pious was, but talking to him didn't to anything and I had to follow the routine through 2 nights and wait for his "action". Just be glad this...
  2. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

Some yes, some not. As said above, there is a warning before the point of no return. An additional point to consider is how much overpowered you are and how difficult the combat is. For the final quests it doesn't matter whether your'e OP or not since they are boring in terms of gameplay...
  3. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

Not only it goes fast towards the ends now, but the quality of quest writing drops. If you still have unfinished side quests, I'd recommend doing those as they are better than the final few main quests.
  4. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

I think the general consensus is that the middle third when your stats aren't maxed out and you don't own the best armor yet, the combat is fun. Around the time you find the german knight and have a fight with him it feels quite balanced. For the rest of the game it feels frustrating or too...
  5. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

The last time I saw that was Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. Guess who made that.
  6. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

That must be meant only temporarily. These days it has 1400 inhabitants and the Czech wiki mentions the mines were still producing silver in 16th century, since they sourced it to the newly built Prague mint during the reign of Ferdinand I.
  7. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

I like the idea of resettling very much, but why the hell are you rebuilding some shithole in a forest, when there is a abandoned town with existing infrastructure for mining silver? I wouldn't be surprised if the town was populated with the refugees from Skalitz, can't believe though, they...
  8. Vampyr - vampire action-RPG from Life Is Strange devs

I agree. But most games don't have budgets to hire historical language experts to write the games in the original language of the chosen era. And most players would fail to understand such writing properly without some sort of aid. Per complanca, most games can't even pull off multilingual...
  9. Vampyr - vampire action-RPG from Life Is Strange devs

You're right about the word choice being modern and "hamfisted" into the game's setting. The question is though, should the game writers study the articles and manifests from that era and change the vocabulary accordingly? I'd love it, because I love historical stuff and am aware of words having...
  10. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

Could be the new DLCs which is probably going to take place at Trosky. Vávra made a trip there recenty with one of the senior artist. It might take a while to produce it though, since they will have to create a new smaller map.
  11. Eternity Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pre-DLC Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

If you just drag those from equiped to inventory on the ship management screen, it will remove the effect. Normal sails and hull will replace those "gifts" upon dragging them away. At least that's what happened with me.
  12. Eternity Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pre-DLC Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

I'm confused. From reading the thread about PoE1 I had the impressioned Durance and GM were the most hated NPCs. Personally, I liked Durance, didn't care that much for GM. Did the 'Codex opinion on Durance shifted or is my memory failing me?
  13. Eternity Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pre-DLC Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

Ah `Hellion at least explains it: Kudos!
  14. Eternity Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pre-DLC Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

One thing I don't get about the reviews is how most of them call Deadfire an improvement and then give it the same or lower rating. IGN – 8.5 vs 9.0 Ragequit – 92 vs 99 Gamestar – 92 both PC Gamer – 88 vs 92 Gamespot – 80 vs 80 :hmmm: Is it the lack of novelty? The crowded market? The...
