  1. Judas - narrative FPS set on a disintegrating starship from Ken Levine's Ghost Story Games

What are you talking about? The visuals are a mix between Bioshock, Atomic Heart, Overwatch 2, Deathloop, Prey, etc, etc. Pretty clear visual style to me! It's the current stylized realism for 'quirky' AAA games.
  2. The STEAM Sales and Releases Thread

Hey, the developer here. The game's vision is way different from a facebook cowlicker, way more emphasis on strategy after the initial stage(taking over business, getting politicians and police on your side either through blackmail or doing favors for them as well as a dynamic narrative like a...
  3. Video game company layoffs are creating an industry crisis, women disproportionately affected

How will this affect all the upcoming games with a strong black female lead???
  4. Vapourware The Day Before - MMO survival shooter from the Russian studio Fntastic

Should've put strong black women on the cover art and used Sweet Baby as their consultant, would've fared much better.
  5. Vapourware The Day Before - MMO survival shooter from the Russian studio Fntastic

The mere fact that this game got released is a miracle, everything else is a plus.
  6. Decline Are there actually any good online rpgs?

Depends. Can you teleport back to 2006? Honest answer, WoW Hardcore, played on a private server like a true gentleman. There is a certain RPG feel to it, not felt in any online game for the past 15 years. You've got to prepare for many encounters, crafting is finally worth doing, every travel...
  7. Decline Grand Theft Auto VI - PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S (2025)

The intro started and Horatio didn't put his sunglasses on, CSI Miami sucks ass in 2025
  8. Incline Post-decline gems

Mount and Blade Warband(2008) Slay the Spire (2019) Darkest Dungeon (2016) Stalker(s) Not really gems but I liked them even though I see them more as fast food, good while you eat them but won't touch them once again for years Ass Creed 2 Grim Dawn Fallout NV There are more of course, these...
  9. KickStarter Stoneshard - open world roguelike RPG - now available on Early Access

Something about the game just seems, I don't know, boring. Maybe it's because it's too slow. Maybe it's because traveling is boring and you need to pass a lot of time traveling. Combat was ok, nothing great. Maybe it was because it has that good awful trees taking most of the screen in...
  10. Alex Jones NWO Wars

How can something with Alex Jones in it be diet?
  11. Captain Claw

Going to some school friend's house in Eastern Europe meant they would have Frozen Throne, AOE2/EE/Rise of Nations, some modded half life version, some modded CS version,CS 1.3, FIFA and of course, this game.
  12. As One We Survive - post apocalyptic survival game

Looks interesting, art is a bit clashing, hopefully it won't base itself too much on crafting like many today's post apo's games.
  13. Decline Can someone explain what an idle mmo is

Don't get me wrong these type of games are vapid and shallow, but I had more fun in these types of games than I did in GW2 at launch(rarely played afterwards). At least these games have some kind of good progression... even if that lasts only for a couple of weeks until the SPECIAL PROMO panels...
  14. Actually Good Tycoon Games

The Movies, I remember a young me loved that game. It was rough sometimes but it was certainly a fun tycoon game. Prison Architect, it was a fun and novel game, at least when I've played it. I haven't had an itch to replay it, so yeah probably not a great one. I don't know how much you can count...
  15. El Paso, Elsewhere - Max Payne-inspired supernatural third person shooter with low poly graphics

For me it's a bit clashing visually though I'm a big fan of Max Payne 1/2 so maybe I will still like it, maybe if I play it on mute because what are the posters in the steam thread thinking lol... "You don't like rap verses while you are shooting creatures? What is wrong with you?? "
