  1. Skyrim is worse than Oblivion in every way

"The same"? Nope, It's totally different since almost all fixed loot is mediocre stuff and quest rewards/boss chests are scaled to your level. There is no way you can find anything uber as a low level even if you can kill anything you meet.
  2. Editorial The cost of dialogue

I wondering why would any dev thinks putting VA onto every single bland dialogue they can think of gives any value to the player whatsoever. Bonus points if they are so bad until it makes people cringe. And its not like people working on the VA are doing it for free either, so why bother...
  3. Game News Next Dragon Age Will Draw From Skyrim

Gaming industry running out of ideas? Shocking. Even Valve is running out of them (lol DOTA 2). After all who needs them when garbage is already selling by the tens of millions.
  4. Pure mage in Morrowind (and expansions): Hard or Impossible?

Scrolls are ridiculously good; 100 lockpicking, Windform scrolls let you fly across 1/3 of the world map while invisible plus Drathis Soulrot scrolls that kills "mobile ATM" Ordinators in just 2 hits. All of these for low, low rank of Conjurer in Mages Guild. Besides, Creeper is also just a few...
  5. Elder Scrolls Codexistan's Official Skyrimjob Verdict.

Mechanics-wise, even you if you ignore the hilarously overpowered Alchemy/Enchanting/Smithing synergies, there is no point playing anything else other than Shadow Warrior perked dagger backstabbing machine or a DW melee fighter because the rest are just so goddamn bad in comparison. So much for...
  6. Elder Scrolls Codexistan's Official Skyrimjob Verdict.

One might think vast, immersive when you begin playing it, where flaws at the start get overlooked in the hopes that "I just haven't reached the good stuff yet", but actually every part of the game is just as dull, boring and badly designed as the one you start out with. Then the buyer's remorse...
  7. Interview Skyrim, DLC, Buckets

It's a sheer accomplishment when your unintended game glitches are a thousand times more fun than things that are implemented seriously.
  8. Skyrim - Bethesda, you should be very, very proud.

Pfft, it's already too much work for a proper armor rating scaling system...Those 5.5 years of dev time was truly well invested. The more funny part is Beth actually got armor rating done right in Morrowind, out of all things.
  9. Skyrim is worse than Oblivion in every way

"Who put this green potion in my pocket? Nevermind I'm drinking it to find out!" It a surprise any NPC can survive in Skyrim at all, yet somehow they have the uncanny ability to spot stolen goods from a mile away as if everything was RFID tagged.
  10. Skyrim - Bethesda, you should be very, very proud.

The glitches are more fun than the actual game.
  11. Skyrim is worse than Oblivion in every way

My first post here but anyway, Skyrim is indeed better than OB but like somebody said earlier in this thread OB sucked so hard that anything would be better in comparison. I'm not even to talk about the bugs and the graphics quality because both had been done to death IMO. The art and animation...
