    Incline Colony Ship RELEASE THREAD

Just bought the game. I played way back in the very first EA combat demo. I liked it, and promised to give it a shot once it released. So, here I am. I really hope this game does well, just on principle.

    KickStarter Sea of Stars - a retro-inspired turn-based RPG

I've mentioned my disappointment with the music shown for this game a few times in this thread - this is more like what I was hoping for. Good stuff.

KickStarter Peripeteia - Deus Ex-inspired FPS/RPG set in anime cyberpunk Poland

I was just thinking about how it was such a shame that E.Y.E.'s system of hacking enemy bodies was so under-cooked and lamenting that it's such a rare mechanic. Do we know if it'll function only as shown in the video (i.e. need to get right up to the enemy to use it) or if it'll be able to be...

KickStarter Peripeteia - Deus Ex-inspired FPS/RPG set in anime cyberpunk Poland

It almost certainly does. IMO Roguey is correct, these are easy to ignore if already fatigued. I enjoy the updates; gives me something to look forward to every Saturday.

Well if nothing else they've completely won me over with their sense of aesthetics - both auditorily and visually. Perfectly captures that grimey cyberpunk atmosphere à la Neruomancer. I also get some heavy Serial Experiments Lain vibes, but that might just be me. It was also nice to see a...

    KickStarter Sea of Stars - a retro-inspired turn-based RPG

A few months back I made a comment about the music being lacking; I still think that, however I believe I feel that way due to how it differs from Chrono Trigger. As many others have mentioned it is patently obvious that this game wants to be Chrono Trigger - in many aspects it looks like...

KickStarter Peripeteia - Deus Ex-inspired FPS/RPG set in anime cyberpunk Poland

I've said it before but I'll say it again: I really LOVE the music that's been shown for the game thus far. It's been a long time since I've really been excited for a new game... looking forward to this one.

    KickStarter Sea of Stars - a retro-inspired turn-based RPG

Does anyone else find the music shown so far to be somewhat lacking?

Clearly, the devs have nailed the overall graphical palette and aesthetic. However, I feel like they're just going to have an absolute bitch of a time making these large environments feel lived-in and dense. Best of luck to them on that front, that can't be easy. I dig the glass breaking. Neat...

    Colony Ship: First System Update

I think it's fine to have a difficulty option here. I beat the original combat demo, and it was pretty challenging. I'm pretty used to CRPGs too, so I imagine newcomers were really going to get themselves in trouble. While some games (i.e. Dark Souls) would be dramatically worsened by the...

Man this music is phenomenal - I love these dark DnB vibes I'm getting. It also kind of reminds me of Clams Casino for some reason. Maybe it's the vocal chops? I kind of hope the game makes use of some more of these types of songs in their soundtrack.

Oh God, their lead level designer is homeless? Jesus, that's awful. I hope the success of this campaign (and prospectively, the game's release) prevent homelessness from plaguing their team going forward.

The Fermi Paradox - sci-fi narrative strategy game with Brian Mitsoda - now on Early Access

This doesn't look like my sort of thing, but all the best to Brian. Hopefully, he can get the satisfaction of something he worked on actually releasing this time.

Pathfinder Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Beta Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Just wanted to say that this game looks like fun! I haven't spoiled myself much yet, but what I have seen seems very promising. I've got a reason to look forward to September now, anyway.
