Divinity: Original Sin is a top 5 RPG of the last decade. It is a turn-based team-based RPG with a rich content in exploration, role-playing, and puzzles. Which means it has no similarity with Diablo at all.

Why all upgraded top tier creations suck in GF2: They cost twice (250) as much as non-upgraded version, but offers little improvement There is no resistance in GF2, which mean higher tier creations will take the same amount of damage as lower ones Why Ur-drakon sucks in particular: Their damage...

Ur-Drakons are introduced in G2. They sucks in G2. They are actually missing in G3, because there are only 2 create drakon canisters and there is no other way to get the third level. They are wonderful in G4, but you can only get them at the very end of game

    Avernum: Escape from the Pit

Avernum2 remake has a serious problem. Monster physical resistance grows too fast as their level grows. You'd better have a party of spellcasters.

    Avernum 2: Crystal Souls

I don't know but I would suggest you not to upgrade the game, but buy a DRM-free version instead. The saves are compatible, and in the same location. If you do not remove your save files, you can use them immediately when reinstall a full version.

    GOG.com

No way. Steam allows that (if you have played for less than 2 hours) because they know how long you have played, and once you refund, you cannot play it anymore. GOG is drm-free.
