  1. Interview Chris Avellone works with challenged kids

I'm trying to remember if you could piss off Drizz't in BG2 the way you could in BG.
  2. Preview Hype Machine 1, Fallout fans Nil

Rehash? It took place on a bus. It looked completely different to me... I thought it was a cool trailer.
  3. Quintessential NWN and/or Morrowind mods?

Darkness Over Daggerford for NWN would be my recommendation.
  4. What is the most insanely difficult CRPG you've ever played?

Bard's Tale 2. There's a riddle on the top of Dargoth's Tower I still don't know the answer to. It's been bothering me for 20 years. Another notable locale is the Grey Crypt, which was completely dark, magic dead, and nasty. A pretty cool game back in the day on the apple II C. BT3 I did...
  5. BioWare/Pandemic have no soul.

If you send the wizard ahead invisible to clear the fog of war and cast while they are just standing there then it works. Otherwise, they are on your party and you are casting the spell on yourself. Of course, later I suppose you could use the freedom spell on yourself in advance. I played...
  6. BioWare/Pandemic have no soul.

Never did play the game out of the box at the time after hearing all the horror stories about bugs. However, having installed ToEE along with the circle of eight bug crushing community effort ToEE became quite a decent game. The temple is rendered in all it's morbid detail and the turn based...
  7. Company News Bioware wants to make more RPGs...

There actually is a Barldur's Gate game for GBA called Dark Alliance. I've been curious as to it's quality. Maybe it's the same game?...it has to play differently then the standard console versions. And, as others have commented, DS Fallout would have a tremendous amount of potential...
  8. Company News Bioware wants to make more RPGs...

Someone is making a turn based D&D game for the psp, so it's not surprising Bioware would want to jump into the market with something similar on the rival platform the DS. I've been thinking of getting one or the other. And there's some good stuff on the GBA... Rebelstar Tactical Command and...
  9. Atari announce new D&D title!

They should make it for the Nintendo DS. GBA is a bit dated tech wise by now, though rebelstar tactical command was great fun as was the Eye of the Beholder port... both turn based.
  10. Interview Feargus talks TVG ear off

Gromnir is his half orc character that he's unleashed on the world of message boards. Bio thought enough of him to give him a BG2 Throne of Bhaal cameo.
  11. Interview Feargus talks about NWN2 at Eurogamer

Fat kid and skinny kid are sort of interchangeable. High school sucked...
  12. Interview Feargus talks TVG ear off

I think it's sort of funny he even considered the idea. Wasteland has pretty strong connotations of emptiness, which would'nt mean a whole lot if you have a few thousand people playing mutants/humans/ghouls/deathclaws crisscrossing the wastes going to and fro in search of what? special system...
  13. Community Bethesda developer on the FO fans reaction

NMA Odd that this guy would read NMA but not Codex, as if they are treated any better over there. Actually, they're probably treated worse over there given roshambo's unique writing skills.
  14. Rebelstar Tactical Command for GBA

K thanks. I will get this for sure as it is only 20 bucks. Turn based, action points, chain gun, rocket launcher, laser gun... course I thought Fallout when I read all this though it vs aliens who abduct people over 30, so yea, the story is a bit ridiculous.
  15. Rebelstar Tactical Command for GBA

http://www.gamespot.com/gba/strategy/re ... media.html Anybody played this? It's turn based and looks pretty fricken cool if you check out these videos... especially the developer interview. I just want the opinion of someone who's actually played through it.
